Hello folks and welcome back for today's review on a couple of new additions to the Drag family from Voopoo. The Drag S houses a 3000mAh internal battery with a maximum power output of 60 watts and has 3 power modes as well as 3 screen themes and a animation mode that can be turned off.

The Drag X is powered by a replaceable 18650 or 21700 external battery and has a power output of 80 watts also using 3 power modes and has 3 display screen themes.

The Drag X also has animation but there are 3 different selections to choose from and like the Drag S they can be turned off as well. The Drag X also employs a touch screen for adjustments. Both devices have a locking system that can use the touch activation or button, these devices are very similar but are different in there features.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I have to say first impressions of both devices were very good, the appearance of the Drag S3 is great in my opinion with it's leather wrapped sides and spine, I also like that Voopoo put a rubber bumper on the bottom of the device to protect furniture. The weight is just right as is the size.

The Drag X3 is also a great looker with the same leather wrapped sides and spine but with more refinement having stitching on the spine with a quilted appearance, the sides also have crisscross pattern. The Drag X3 has more weight to it even without a battery being installed, but that's to be expected. Sadly there's no rubber bumper on the bottom of the Drag X3.

The Drag S3 is almost ready to vape right out of the box, just remove the safety sticker from the bottom of the pod, charge it to full battery capacity and fill it. When powered on Smart mode is already chosen. Connecting both pods to the devices is done using magnets like most devices use. These pods use the great flavor producing PnP X coils and use the side fill with the rubber plug.

The Drag X3 has a battery sled that is very different from most battery installation methods and I really like it because it really locks the battery into place. The Drag X3 also starts out in smart mode and the same safety sticker is on it's pod as well. Voopoo also sent me a 0.1Ω pod as well.

On the Drag X a 18650 battery adaptor is included and it is already installed inside the tube, I tested it and it worked fine with no rattle to speak of. I really like this method of installing a battery because it locks into place, when installing or removing a battery press the unlock button.

Both devices have nice display screen themes as I mentioned earlier there are 3 theme choices for both plus animation on the screen that can be turned off to conserve battery life, the Drag S3 has only 1 animation selection but the Drag X3 gives you 3 different patterns to chose from.

The display screens are bright with vibrant colors and both use a easy to navigate menu with the Drag S3 just press the fire button 3 times quickly to enter the menu then scroll using the adjustment buttons. To turn the devices on/off it the standard 5 quick presses of the fire button.

The Drag X3 uses a touch screen so just scroll with a swipe of a finger then press the fire button, the touch lock works great for pocket carry, when using it only your finger will unlock the fire buttons so no worry about objects in your pocket unlocking it.

    FINAL IMPRESSION

First off the appearance on the 2 devices that were sent to me are very attractive. I'm no stranger to the PnP X coils they are some of if not the best factory drop in coils on the market today giving great flavorful vapes. The airflow works great with either pod the Drag X3 has a very nice RDL or a DL vape with the Drag S3 giving you either a tight or loose MTL vape.

I will continue using both devices after this review and I consider both to be winners and recommend them 100%.

I would like to thank Voopoo for sending these devices for my review and I would like to thank all of you that read my reviews.

    THANK YOU
