    First Impressions
My first impressions were WOW this mod is GORGEOUS and BIG. The fire button it located in the front top center of the mod and has a Resin cover over it and the rear of the mod also has a thin strip of Resin over the chrome finish that cover the mod. The sides of the mod are carbon fiber with a strip of chrome in the center. The top of the mod has a very big centered 510 connection. The battery door is located on the bottom of the mod and seems to be very easy to open but secure. The display screen is 1.3 inches, up and down button's are housed in a single rocker switch located under the display screen. There is a U shaped led bezel light surrounding the front of the mod.

My impressions after using the X-217

I have been using this mod for just over 2 weeks after receiving it from Voopoo for this review. This is my honest review of the X-217 mod. First I have to say this mod is gorgeous without even being powered up, but when you do power it up the display and light show (Lights can be turned off) really impress with it's sharp detailed screen.

My pictures really can't show how beautiful this screen is. There are 8 wallpapers to choose from, I have just a black screen but there is a cat, a forest, a rose, fireworks, a city skyline over water, a snowy mountain and a lighthouse. When the mod times out 1 of 4 clocks will display for a short time. I prefer this one out of the 4 choices.

Again my pictures don't do it justice. I wanted to test out the 18650 battery adapters first to see if there was any battery rattle so I threw the adapters on a pair of LG HG2 batteries and installed them, powered up, attached a atomizer selected wattage and had a vape. Upon tilting the mod to vape I heard the batteries move inside the mod (battery rattle). What was worse was the vape felt under powered. It was definitely under powered so I went to the boost settings and tried boost 1 then boost 2 with a little improvement but the vape still seemed under powered. This was at 80 watts using the mesh pro tank that I use on a daily basis. Next step was to try a different set of 18650 batteries so I pulled out a pair of Samsung 25 R and slid them in the adapters, they were snug where the LG'S were very loose , installed them in the mod, powered up, had a vape and again battery rattle and a under powered vape.

Next was a pair of IJOY 20700 batteries, SAME THING, battery rattle and a under powered vape. Next was a pair of Golisi S35's and battery rattle was greatly improved but still present and the vape was still under powered. My next thing to do was try different atomizers with higher builds and I found better vapes at under 80 watts. Vaping at between 50 to 65 watts I had a good vape. 80 watts is normally as high as I go and that's only on the mesh pro that works fine on other mods.

I still like the mod and can live with the very slight gonk of the battery rattle and I'm fine using it with higher builds not exceeding 65 to 70 watts and still use every day. I forgot to mention that this mod can accept 30 mm just fine. A closing thought on wishes that this mod had would be a fire bar, and the ability to fire low builds at the correct wattage. You can still get a good vape raising the wattage but I feel you should not have to do so. I would like to thank Voopoo for sending this to me for this honest review.
