I bought a 5-pack of the 2.4 Ohm cartos and they are completely worthless to me. They are testing at 1.6-2.0 Ohms. More than likely, the manufacturer didn't take into account the resistance on the leads. The Vortex 2.0's I bought are testing on my multimeter at 2.1-2.5 if you don't subtract the 0.5 Ohms on the leads, but they are actually testing at 1.6-2.0 Ohms (on my multimeter).

This resistance is way too low for many 808 batteries as the battery sees it as a short at that low of a resistance and turns the battery off. I have two brand new V4L 808 manual XL batts and these Vortex 2.0's are not working on either because the resistance is not as advertised.

You can see a review on the Vortex 2.0's below which discusses the resistance problem:

So, these Vortex 2.0's probably shouldn't be sold anymore until the resistance problem is fixed. I sure would hate to see other people buy these and then wonder why they're not working. I don't want to have to start buying a gazillion different kinds of 808 batteries to try to make them work with these Vortex 2.0's, so at this point, the Vortex's that I just purchased are worthless to me and will likely go in the garbage bin and I'll keep trying different cartos.

Very disappointing as I really wanted to try these.
