I voted yes, because at this point any public acceptance of PVs is good (Even a non-scientific throw-away poll, like the ones showing 99% of people wanting Ron Paul to be president).

My actual opinion on the matter is that I don't care if stealth vaping happens on planes, and would myself do it if I already knew the passengers sitting next to me and knew they would be fine with it.

But I don't particularly want to see clouds of what would be initially unknown vapor/smoke rising from several rows in front of me, it would make me feel uneasy.

Umm, actually there have been times I'd like to tell someone to stop breathing because my eyes are tearing! At least an offensive vape smell dissipates quickly! Really though, these days people are too quick to ban anything and everything. What we have here is a lack of tolerance!

Exactly my point, you would have loved to but couldn't. That same person can and will tell you not to use your pv because the smell bothers them and they would be in the right. I try to respect others and their rights but am growing tired of being told what I can do or can't do when it causes no harm to others.

Again, I voted yes, so don't hate on me too much.

But if someone brought a chunk of dry ice on the plane, sat next to me, and put it in a bowl of water creating lots of vapor, I would ask them to remove it because it's inappropriate for an airplane and is just rude.

No, No I don't hate you at all. All I was saying is that is it legal to bother others with personal smells etc... ie if someone was standing next to me that hadn't showered in days and I asked them to move or told them they stink I would be considered rude, but it is ok to tell me not to use my pv because the smell is bothering them.

Actually, if someone got on a plane without showering for days and had serious body odor, I don't think you'd be rude to reach into your carry on, hand them your deodorant, and tell them "I know traveling can be tough, and I don't know your situation and am not judging you as a person or anything, but you have a strong body odor that is bothering me. You can keep this deodorant, can you please use some -- a lot -- in the lavatory?" I imagine the passengers sitting near you who were too chicken to say anything would be relieved as well, and if the person made a fuss about their personal right to stink, they'd be the rude one.

I did vote. I am unsure how I feel about this. I know in the car when it is stopped the vapor cloud and smell bothers my husband. The cloud of vapor does linger for a little bit. Also I am not sure the vaping in the bathroom is wise either, I know there has been cases of the vapor setting off smoke detectors.
