Got a good deal on a couple of sony VTC5's at a local vape shop, and they're great. I was content with the VTC4's, but these we're being sold at the same price. I bought a pair, not expecting a huge difference. These things last damn near all day. I use a patriot rda on a stingray clone and I go through about 3 VTC4 batteries a day, with the VTC5 MAYBE changing them 1 time at night. They stay at 3.7 through just about their whole range and I've had zero issues. Highly recomend.

Sounds to me like your VTC4 batteries are simply worn out.

The ONLY difference between the VTC4 and VTC5 is the 4s are 2100 mAh and the 5s are 2600 mAh.

So obviously if you're going through 6300 mAh on a VTC4 then a single 2600 mAh VTC5 is NOT going to last you all day. Not unless you're VTC4s are almost completely worn out and really only providing somewhat less than 900 mAh of power on a full charge.

But, I suspect you knew your VTC4 batteries are already almost totally worn out, which is why you were buying new batteries in the first place.

pretty much yes :)

second potential point (not for the end-user but Sony itself): presents of LG and Samsung, which have 2500mah and 20A,
so, with VTC5 - people will still use Sony brand,
as they used to do :)
