Hey Everyone. Gotta question. On the Evic which side will run the battery down the quickest, the VW side or the WW side? And..... Can you use the Kanger Protank on the Evic?

I am using the EVODs and am very pleased with them (I know, why fix it if it aint broke) however, I am reading a lot of post on here about how everyone is liking the performance of the Protank and I though I might get me one just to see what the hype is all about. I know that the coils on the EVOD and Protank are now enter changeable.

Thank you very much....

I would guess it doesn't matter which side your on. They both regulate how much power is consumed. Just one is measured on going by straight Volts, the other is measured on Watts. The difference is when you switch heads. If you say give me 4 volts, it will continue to give you 4 volts. If say say 6 watts, it regulates how many volts are needed for the ohms it reads in the head attached. Switch heads, and the ohms change. The power the either goes up, or goes down, to match the same wattage as before. (no two heads are the same, no matter how much the manufacturer says it's a 2.2. some are 2.4, others are 2.1 etc...) And you will probably move it up or down based on the flavor you get anyway.

Yes, the protank (and anything else that has 510 threads) should work on the Evic.

I have many Evics. Nothing like that will run the battery down. If your noticing an issue with your battery life replacement batteries are not expensive. I use only Kanger pros and atiomizers on my Evic. That work like a dream I suggest removing one coil from the head.

Also the heads that work on evods and ts tanks don't work on the pro tank but the pro tank heads work universally with the whole line of Kanger.

Both sides will run the battery down equally if your voltage to resistance ratio is the same.
The only thing that saves battery life is to use the ohm to voltage efficiently.
The less AMP strain you put on the battery the better for battery life.
So keep your ohms + voltage closer.

Believe it or not, I think I've read that higher resistance + higher voltage = less battery drain.

Here is a post about more on that: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ow-resistance-high-resistance-efficiency.html

Not according to this from Discount Vapers https://store-549f5.mybigcommerce.com/evodcoils/ . Kanger is going to go to a one coil system for both Protank and Evod. Here is the link for the Coils. If you notice the description of the coil it states EVOD/Protank Coil: Kanger eVod Coil replacements
