It probably lasted around 3/4 of a tank? I was messing around with flavors, so most likely it was around 3.8 with quick bursts of 4.2 on a new coil. And I use the standard coil that comes in the clearomizers. I really really love this vv, but mine has never lasted a whole day - and I don't always chain vape:vapor:

Yes, Chesty, the button does flash when it's out.

Have you tried a different coil? A few days ago, I got the blinking lights of death and I assumed my battery was dead (even though I could have sworn it still had charge) and I swapped it for another I could have sworn had charge, but the same thing happened. I then tried a third battery that I new had charge (I swear) and the same thing happened. I tried a new coil and the problem was solved. My old coil must have been shorting out or something.

Could your coil be intermittently shorting out (is that even possible?).

Amanda, just retested my VV
It blinks like 5 times for a short. I'm just sticking a small philips screwdriver inbetween to short it out, and I hit the button.
The button should just glow if there is nothing on the battery, just the same for a good tank/coil.

Is yours 5 blinking with nothing? Then it is defective.

Just wanted to update this thread and say that I think my vv battery has been fine all along. I think that I tend to do looooong button presses, which obviously uses up the battery faster. That along with chain vaping is tough on batteries:vapor:

Oh, that's the ten second cutoff! As a safety feature, the power is cut after a ten second push. You hafta inhale quicker!!!

A VV that needs recharging flashes 15 times quick.
A VV with a short, or detecting a coil with a short, flashes quickly only when you hold down the button.

JUST had this happen to me yesterday for the first time.
Course, I had to test the tank on every battery and compare it to another tank before I remembered that it's probably the coil in the tank that makes the batteries flash.
