I've never used one but it looks like it's basically a direct USB connection to a USB port so you can sit plugged in and vape without worrying about battery life... It doens't look like it has a battery at all. As long as the voltages are correct I dont see how it could be too bad, most of the vaping experience comes from the juice / *omizer anyways.

Well I did test it out last night.

Over all it worked well and will be a great backup or hanging around the house setup.

The "timing" of how long I hold down the button is a little different from my ego twist. It seemed to be happy when you held down the button for a extra second or two before inhaling. I have no way to check the voltages, but if I cranked it up it defiantly was putting out more volts.

It also worked very well for dry burning an atomizer I was cleaning. I liked that I did not have to worry about how much battery I was using.

My only other comment would be that it is very small. So small it can be hard to hold & push the button. I think I will try and fashion some type of handle or holder for it and add a USB extension.

For the price I am VERY happy with it. I love the idea that if I forgot to charge my batteries I can still vap. :vapor:

Looking at this productVariable Voltage EgO/510 USB Passthrough Anyone have or used one of these? Was just wondering how well they worked.

i own one of these badboys. i like it a lot. one thing i will suggest is to get a wall adaptor rated at at least 2 amps. you wont get the full range of its capabilities, but youll get pretty close. much better than a 0.5 or 1 amp wall adaptor. im actually thinking about getting a 3 or 4 amp wall adaptor. but for now, ive got a 2.1 amp adapter and its suiting my needs just fine.

this thing is great. it allows me to save batt life on my PVs and also have something in case of a vaping emergency.

my only compaint is a minor one. i wish the cord was longer. i tried a usb extention cord and i swear the vape diminished. i dont have the rigth kind of meter to run any tests, but i stopped using it. i just sit closer to the wall now
