Typical Ego is 3.4ohms, but what are the ohms on an Ego Passthru using the 5.0V cigarette lighter thingie?

I hope my question makes sense!

That's 3.4Volts not ohms... and using the 5v adapter won't change the voltage. But there are new variable volt eGo passthroughs that have 3 voltages - 3.3/3.7/4.2V. You change voltage by pressing the button 5 times.

eGo Variable Voltage 900mAh Passthrough

You can go a bit less if you're only going to use it in the car. There's one that is strickly a PT non-detachable:

Hello,
I am not attempting to hijack this thread, but did have a question about the passthrough that is listed here: Does this contain any type of lithium ion battery in it? The reason I ask is that I had a 510 passthrough that actually had an inline li-on battery. I want a passthrough that does not contain a battery so there is no chance of it blowing up in my car or work etc.

THanks

I only have the one that is not hardwired and yes there's a battery in it. There's protection on both the car and the charger - which only means that the probability of any overcharge is reduced to a miniscule chance, but I always pull the plug when I leave my car and pull all batts from the chargers when leaving home or going to sleep.
