VV eGo

Both of my VV eGo batteries have died. They will not charge or light up at all. Anyone else ever have this happen?

Side question, does GotVapes.com plan on carrying the eGo-C? Just got one and it rocks!

Try carefully rocking off the top connection, the part where you screw on the cone. Once you have it off you should see the wire/wires that are no longer connected. There is a tread with an image of the top connection removed... you may need to solder the wire back on.

I tried that with the first one. Could not find a single broken connection on the inside. I threw that one away.

i have had sometimes where the center pin had dropped enough it would not connect to the charger. still worked fine with the carts. had a charger with an extension screwed on it seemed to do the trick.
wont help if its really dead though but something to look into.

and hey - dont throw away dead hardware you can send it to me lol

Since using the ego-c I could never go back to the vv, unless they included 5 click protection.

SO whats the ego c output? i really liked the vv one cuz it put out a little more than my others. and sometimes the lower setting was helpfull too...

I think it's the standard 3.4 or 3.2 (don't remember), but with the atomizers made for it the cape is awesome. The battery level is readable by the color of the button (goes from white-light blue-blue) so it doesn't waste space with a LCD display like the VV.

All in all the C feels like a home run so far. I hope GotVapes sells them in the future because I am so used to ordering from them.

My last VV ego died exactly the same way earlier this month. It worked great one minute, then nothing. It wouldn't light up or charge. I disassembled it and there's no broken wires or any sign of damage. That one lasted 4 months so I probably got my $$$ worth. OTOH, my first VV died after 1.5 months because the switch burned up. The interior of the switch's plastic shell was melted, the metal disc was warped, and one of the pads in the switch literally vaporized. I was very surprised to learn that GV warrants batteries for only 7 days.
