I snagged the last one probably minutes after cskent ordered his.

I have four other VV box mods---two Big Brother Variable Version 1s and a Big Daddy Variable Version 2 from Ken, and a lovely hand-painted Big Splash VV VM (built-in volt meter) from Shan Burkholder.

While I've followed with interest the development of the ProVari, Darwin, and soon-to-come Eclipse (plus the newly designed VV tank mod PV whose name I forget that's slated for later this year), I haven't felt inclined to wait for or buy any of those. I do understand that variable voltage is only a step in the direction of variable power (watts), but I'm very happy with my less-expensive VVs. My next purchase is likely to be a Little Sister Vari-Cool from Ken.

Apart from building one myself, Madvapes little 3AA box is about as cheap as VV can get.

I like my Silver Bullet and with a 2.0 ohm atty I'm quite content with its performance, but I've wanted to try VV just to see what all the hype is about. However I didn't want to spend +$150 on a new toy. This inexpensive little vv mod lets me satisfy my curiosity without a major investment in new hardware. It looks like Madvapes is putting around 5 vv mods up on the site each day so it'll take a while for them to get a good stock since they'll probably sell as fast as they get them on there.

Mine arrived at the post office this morning so it should be out for delivery this afternoon. I also got a few of the regular boxmod kits, some diy stuff, and some juices. I'd been meaning to order those anyway so when I saw the vv mods on the site I knew it was time.

+1 for madvapes. I've spent a lot of money on VVs, and it is great to see a reasonably priced one come out now. I thought the Lil Sis was priced great, haha.

Got my package in the mail today! I was soo excited (I always get excited when I get vapemail), it came in a nice big USPS box...opened it up...to find a small bubble wrap envelope...opened that up, and...a small bag with some resistors, a knob and a small board...womp womp womp! I called them and they're taking care of it, I figured it was a sign to order more stuff, so I did over the phone! haha. The guys were cool over the phone...but the anticipation is killing me, this is my first VV mod...just want to try out VV before I order a Provari. Oh well...patience is a virtue!

Well I'm just guessing, but, its a new item in their inventory, im willing to bet that they may have gotten the SKU# or item number mixed up with the DIY kit. I've placed many orders with them in the past and I'm not worried, just a little let down because I got my hopes up when I received my package. :(

Same here, I've never had a problem with an order from them in the past. They sent all the parts except the box and connector so I'd suspect you're right about the mixup. If they'd have sent me the box too I'd have just put it together tonight instead of waiting for a replacement.

I got the same thing, no boxmod just a few parts in a baggie. I opened a ticket. I was so looking forward to trying VV tonight too.

Same here. Got a small mailing envelope from Madvapes today. Knew I was screwed. Inside was the Variable Voltage Regulator Board Kit Rev 2 instead of my VV box. Receipt was correct, for the VV Box Mod.

I figure all six of us who ordered the first bunch were sent the wrong item. Bummer, but everyone's human (and fallible). Mercury has been retrograde, so a "communication error" is no big surprise.

I, too, opened a ticket tonight.
