Ok, so I've build 2 VV box mods using the rev. 2 kits.

Now I'm working on a tube mod so I decided not to use the kit and make my own circuit board and utilize a different pot so instead of the kit, I bought just the chip.

I purchased 2 VV chips and received 2 resistors that are different from what's in the kit.

Heres where the question comes in...

Is there some other way to wire these that I'm unaware of? I had planned on getting the same resistors and a different 50k pot but if there are other options, I'd certainly like to know. lol

Also.. There arent a lot of choices for 50k pots. Is there an easy way to use different ones?

You can probaby use a 100k pot but it will max out about mid-way through based on your input voltage.. On the product page for the ncp630a, there is a link to the spec sheet. We just used the basic circuit they had in there and experimented with different pots until we found one that worked in the voltage range we wanted.
