i just go mine in today and all i can say is wow. i got this Variable Voltage Regulator Board Kit Rev 2 to go with a 5000mah 40c 7.4v li-po i have and man the power i am getting is top notch. it only took me 20 min to have my mod together and working. so for under $14 i have a vv mod i call the monster 6x3x2 and it makes my vivi nova look small in size. now time to see what i can come up with for my next vv i want to build from this kit. :rickroll:

I'm looking at building one of these for myself for fun and I was wondering, does anyone know if the translucent battery boxes on the site are setup in parallel or series just as they come? I'm using a different enclosure and am going to use the batt box for just the two 14500s inside. I'm assuming the kit requires a series configuration? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure all their boxes come setup in series, and yes the 2x 14500 setup requires series, the board needs more volts supplied to it than what it will put out, if you were wanting to use a parallel setup you'd need a step up our buck boost if i remember correctly

series is what I'll need for this! It's kind of a novelty mod, so great batt life isn't a drop dead requirement. Don't think it's even possible with the size I'm working. Unless I go regulated 3.7. And who wants that? Lol!
