:hubba: now that would be  on a vv reo

hmm, looks more open, maybe this way you can have accidental squonks just by grabbing it, holding it firmly, or by stuff thats sitting in your bag/purse/pocket next to it...looks cool tho

So I'm confused..Is that design what the VV Grand's are going to look likeor is that something eklse that may come out in the future? is the squonk hole going to be on the door like the others on the VV Grand? :?: Also has a date been set for the sale yet or any idea of when it might be?

The side squonk hole was part of a discussion earlier on this thread. Here is a the last picture Robert has put up of the VV Grand progress.

hmm, not sure on the rounded edges. I would probably like it, but since the current design is all I know, and I know it works, guess I am pretty happy with it ;)

And I agree, the squonk hole belongs on the door like it is. Just wouldn't be the same!

No it wouldnt be the same but not being the same doesnt mean its not as good or better. I know I'm in the minority about the squonk hole. The one pictured above isnt what I was thinking for a side squonk hole. The hole would be just on the side not on two sides as pictured. To illustrate this take your door off your GRand then hold it against the side of you Grand and look how nicely the hole will fit on the one side. Yes the middle divider could be extended a slight amount to provide a backing for the bottle. I know its not going to happen for this run of Grands or VV Grands but would like it to be considered for future designs. I think its more ergonomic, more functional and sleeker looking.

Ergonomics is the only thing lacking on Reo Grands IMO. Not that its bad or anything, but I always have to switch hand positions for squonking and vaping. Again, its really not a huge concern.

But for instance, if the squonk opening was directly below the button on the new VV Grands, I would be able to press the button with my index finger, and squonk with the ring finger, with either hand. This would be awesome...

You dont have to switch positions wit the regular metal REOs. I use my thumb to squonk and push the button. Only thing that moves is my thumb.

With the door facing you, press the bottle with the edge of your thumb. Then move your thumb up to the button and vape...

But with the VV Grand the firing button will be on the side of the mod. Same side as the atty and squonk hole.

I realize thats what we all do, but IMO it would be easier with what I said above...hence better ergonomics. Not saying the current way is bad, it does work, but theres always room for improvement...

I wonder if I can get Rob to custom make me a VV Grand with the hole below the switch...and a solid door:)

Depends. I've got little hands. I've finally worked out a technique where I can keep it in one hand and use it, but I have to maneuver it around to squonk and then change it back to fire.

Edit: I see it now :)

I got some pretty big mits myself, but I just dont see it using the ring finger to squank and fire at the same time, just don't see it, but if it works for you JK that's all that matters my man, all that matters.

its not that hard. I use to squonk with my ring finger or my middle finger (mostly my middle) fire with my thumb. Until I developed my prefered thumb technique...

With the side of the mod facing you (battery side) I would use my middle finger to squonk and my thumb to fire, with pinkey underneith.
