Personally, I would like to see the C Rating of the Powerizer's.. If it is not advertised or listed, chances are it is low. Then, the issue of them not being protected, and relying on the host device for protection... Nah, I'll stick to AW IMR batteries. It's all about safe chemistry, and total amperage delivered in the end. ;)

LOL You people are funny.

I hear VV chips have landed in Main. :)

I have been dying for a vv feeder for a long time. I got coin waiting on this!
I have thought about adding a booster to my woodvile to make it VV, but I dont want to
harm my fave mod. So I will just have to wait!

The "C" rating on the Powerizers couldn't be too low or they would preform like crap, or one would think anyhow. But the best advice I can give besides don't use unprotected batts other than the IMR's is don't EVER stack unprotected batts unless they are IMR's. When I charge my batts out of a stacked mod one of the batts always takes more to charge then the other.

I'm not sure how they perform... I know they look like cheap, unprotected Chinese batteries. I agree about only using AW IMR batteries to stack. The Powerizer is Li-Ion, and unprotected. They will rely on the electronics in the VV REO for their protection.
I would like to know the C Rating, and who the manufacturer is.

Being unprotected, they will be practically proprietary... They can ONLY be used in mods which already have protection electronics built-in.

You can always PM Mike (Notcigs) and get that info.

Agreed, its nice that they have a longer charged life in use, but I will stick to something tried and true like my AW's.

Thats good to know. What voltage and ohm attys are you using. I didnt realize that protected batteries could be used but that makes sense since the voltage would be lowered by the electronics. THanks

I have been using a 2.5 ohm i06 set at the max voltage setting (I think it was 5.2v when I put the meter on it) and it performs the exact same at night when I put it down as it did when I put fresh batts in that morning:)

That is one of the best things about a VV unit. I have several and 95% of the time I vape them at 4.2 volts. They will vape at 4.2 volts until the batts are drained. Consistent voltage makes for a great vaping experience.

From the NotCigs Powerizer page:

Powerizer Rcr123a 3.7 volt real 650 mah Buzz battery - notcigs.com

Powerizer RCR123A 3.7 volt 650 Mah ( real 650 Mah tested ~!! )

These are an UN-PROTECTED battery , they are FINE to use in the Buzz Pro or Original Buzz for increased run times , All Notcigs Mods have built in protection for the device AND the battery

these are NOT recommended for un protected mods !

2 x batteries in a set , sold as a set

You know.. I'm not into another battery war. One thing I can see in my crystal ball though... Within a few months of using the Powerizer batteries, the majority of folks who have used AW IMR batteries before in the REO Line-Up will be using the high drains instead... I'd bet the farm on it... ;)

And that's the last you'll hear from me on the subject.. :)

I don't blame you I have all my mods running on AW batts, they are definitely the best option for any pv.

If I cant use safe chem batts then the have to be protected. I have seen very expensive items go up in flames while using Lithium based batteries. These are LiPo but none the less, I'm not going to risk it!

I'm with you. Time will tell. But I'm still not using them!

I'm so not worried about it. Eventually Rob will say what battery he recommends and I'll use those. I'm sure Mike knows what he's talking about but it's Rob's mod and he'll stand behind it, provided I use it the way he intends for me to use it.

Its just a personal preference for me. Its nice that the mod will have protection in it so there is one fail safe, the charger on the other hand. Not everyone uses the so called high end chargers so over volting could happen there. As long as my preferred batteries fit I'm not worried about it either.

lol I won't bet you cause I'd lose and can't afford it. :)

FYI Mike just emailed me back and I asked him about the VV REO and if its a protected mod also if those batteries can be used on it and this was his reply.....

"They will use the SAME controller as the Buzz Pro so YES and YES."
:)

I already bought my AW IMRs but I might try these out now.
