Okay dudes and dudettes, I've heard in the vast and empty grapevine, that people cannot fit kanger T3s clearomisers in there Vamo's?

Well, out of curiosity I just wipped out my old kanger T3S and screwed it into my Vamo V2 ss, and lo and behold, she works!

I believe I read somewhere that they do now have enough room to get any airflow down into the skirt thingy, but mine does. Heaps actually.

Do I have a pretend vamo?

If I'm not mistaken, Vamos are produced by a number of different mfgs. I have a black chrome V2 from FT and it doesn't have ego threading (I assume you used an adaptor to connect the T3) so I can't even install a T3 on my V2. I'm not sure what you're calling a 'pretend' Vamo, but if it has the 'face' it's pretty much a Vamo.

My black chrome V2 has the ego threading, but the opening is too narrow for the Kangers. I got this in December, and I believe that since then some of the V2's have fixed that problem. Apparently the SS has fixed it, but I thought some of the chrome ones were updated as well.

As previously mentioned, Vamo is made by more than one company and in more than one factory. Probably helps to explain why my Black Chrome finish still looks new, and others wear off. Also may explain why I never had treading problems and others do, not to mention the few people who got Vamo's with two different style small buttons. I wish we knew who made what, so we would know which ones to avoid.

I have 2 vamos, each from a different vendor. One is gun metal and the other stainless. Both accept the t3. There was talk that Kanger modified the base of the t3 but I may have just been lucky to get modified vamos. I still like to use the adapter just to avoid juice spill when removing

I have 2 Vamo V2s. My black one will accept any tank or clearomizer. The stainless steel one I bought of the classifieds here will only take the Vivi Novas and the iClear 30s. The clearance isn't enough on the SS one to allow the base of a Kanger or an Evod to fit.

What kind of adapter could I buy so I could use those? They're a little confusing and I'm a newbie.
