I see some of you already posted, but some of this info was not mentioned so I will go ahead and post my finds/views anyhow...

First off WOW! wasnt expecting them 'til Monday since Sat is the 4th 2nd package didnt arrive but this one was more important :)

To make a couple comparisons to the 510 - the button is much lower (doesnt stick out nearly as much) and the vx2 w/man batt puts the 510 w/man batt to shame in vapor production. I could never 'suck' hard enough to keep the batt light lit for 8 seconds......now I get a much better throat hit and MORE vapor then the 510. I can even hold the button down for 2 secs take a normal drag of a real one and have plenty of vapor.

Now as to the PCC case, the button is low profile but still hits the case. I was planning to drill the hole a tad larger like someone else mentioned.

But I found the form of the PCC case does not go all the way down. So you can just make a small channel straight down and the button will clear the form of the case when it is time to screw it in. This is more tedious but then you dont loose the form of the case and it still holds that batt snuggly.

Yes, the form of the case for the battery charger compartment doesn't go all the way down, which makes it even easier to drill it out some. Making a small channel like you suggest is best way of doing it, but as you said, it takes more work.

The way I drilled it was such that it just made one side of the hole larger, so I still have to insert the battery with the manual button in a certain position to get it to slide in...thus providing most of the original support. Not to mention the support it gets when it is screwed in.

I guess the bottom line is that it's great news for all of us that such an easy mod is available for us to make the manual batteries work in the PCC!

:)

This is great news. I am going to have to track down a file. Does the second battery slot that doesn't charge the battery also changes form? I'm going to have to take a look at the pcc a little more closely when I get home tonight.

I may also mod my 510 PCC if the throat hit is better. I can hardly wait for monday-tuesday.

Sorry no, the spare batt slot's form goes all the way down. So, like RSL did, that one will have to be drilled out. I'm gonna leave it as is though, the auto batt lasted a looooong time. My guess is the man batt will last even longer, time will tell.

I'm so jealous! My post office is so slow, a pack mule would get it here faster! It should have come today, but NOoooo and with the 4th of July... I won't get my batteries until Monday:grr:

I'm in No Cali, wasnt expecting until Monday either  but it was a pleasant surprise.

I would have paid for priority shipping just so I can have them for the weekend. I am going to be out tommorow for over 12 hours for a wedding, and all I have to rely on right now is 2 m401 batteries, 1 VX2 battery, and 2 510 batteries. If they all die out, I am F'ed in the A.

HOLY CRAP!!! I use two M402 batts and use the 510 as a trade off throughout the workday......really the 2 402 batts would last me 24 hours the 510 is just so I can hit more often without frying the atty in the 402 LOL

but if your worried about going through FIVE batts in 12 hours you are vaping way too much!!!! 8-o :D

Actually I drilled out the battery charge slot. I did nothing to the spare battery spot. Put the manual battery in upside down and it fits perfectly! :)

I'm still breaking in the m401 atomizers so im taking more drags to get some throat hit, we all know how the 510 batteries are, the vx2 batteries are pretty good. I should be fine during the day, as I won't be vaping during the wedding and the reception - or will I.....

You will :D Just blow the vapor downward OR I've read people doing this on planes....just hold it in and there will be no vapor but you still get your nic fix. :)

So, let me get this straight. You had to modify the PCC to get the manual batteries to fit in there so the case closes correctly or so that the man. batt. isnt on constantly? If thats the case then that sux...But I guess its worth it for the man. batts.

It wont stay on constantly. But you will need to drill out the hole, or like I did file a channel for the button to pass through.

Hey, if your not into modding things the USB and wall charger still work fine.
