I've been doing some VX2 testing for an upraded passthrough (ac wall wart type adapter) and here is what I've found so far >>> DO NOT exceed 4VDC on a VX2 atty....especially if you are using a DC power source with over 1 Amp of available curent! It's not that the voltage itself is too much...it just HEATS the atty much TOO QUICKLY, which will shorten it's lifespan. IF you continue to draw when it's already hot, you could cook the atty instantly. Just ordered 3 more VX2 attys + DSE601 carts. Can't wait to try the POWER PUFF & CHERRY flavors in my DSE601.
