I hate to admit it, but I'm the least technical person I know, and I'm so annoyed with my PCC that I'm ready to throw it up against a wall...a brick one...lol.

I've had this thing for 38 days, but I never really tried to charge a battery with it until yesterday. I've only been using it as a carrying case all this time because I charge the batteries at home before going anywhere, and I'm never gone for very long.

The PCC came with my starter kit and didn't have any directions, but from what I've been reading about PCCs in general, it sounded like I could charge up the case which would then charge a battery a few times before the case needed another charge.

So yesterday I plugged the case into my USB port but no light came on to indicate anything. I left it alone thinking that eventually a green light would come on to let me know it was charged. Hours later...nothing. So then I put a battery into the charging spot, and a light did come on...red. I waited for hours, but the red never changed to green.

I've done a repeat of these steps today, and have gotten the same results. What am I doing wrong, Shawn??? TIA!!!

Okay, let me see if I can get all this right for you..... when you plug the case into the usb (and for somereason I believe, for this to work right, you have to plug the cord into the case, and THEN into the USB port) the little usb plug glows blue, thats it, no other lights, when it goes out, your case is charged. When you put a battery in the case to charge, a little light on the side of the case turns red. When it is done it goes out (or rather it goes out, but kinda flashes every so often, if I remember right). No green lights at any stage of the game......

The case is charged and is now charging up a battery! You know, I never would have figured this out on my own, because I was trying to compare it to the other chargers I've been using.

You may be techno challenged Deliza, but obviously not as badly as me...

Thank you so much!

Jan

Neither of you ladies are technically challenged. The lack of information that comes with the VX2 PCC is abysmal. It is not normal for anyone to draw the conclusion that a solid red light turning into a sporadic flashing (red) one denotes a charged PCC/battery. It's absurd and differs from other standards.

I'm a computer hobbyist. I've built dozens of desktops from a pile of parts/boxes. It took me a while to deduce when the VX2 PCC is charged. (the tell-tale sign was trying the battery in the e-cig once the red LED flashed) And, to make matters worse the VX2's PCC LED set-up is different from the 510's PCC LEDs -- the VX2 and 510 are considered 'sisters' -- one would think the respective PCCs would operate similarly but noooooooo. LOL
