It has, thanks Lisa. I've watched that video 5 or 6 times. The AFS he is using is a little different than mine. Mine has a recess in the bottom (?) cap.
Not so good at first, but it seems to be working better as I use it. I don't know why. I'm not doing anything except loosening/tightening and futzing around with it.
I noticed the "no VG" thing after I filled the AFS with straight VG (thinking that if I botched the job and wasted the contents, VG is cheaper). That didn't work at all. I Dumped that out, put in a PG based 555 from Vapor Kings that is mixed about 60/40 with a 50/50 high-nic blend, making it who-knows-what. The only thinner juice I have is menthol, which I am not fond of anymore (odd, since I smoked menthols).
I hear a lot of slurping noises, but the vapor usually tastes like a dry attie. I turn the hole down and slurp a little, and it gets better for a bit. I'm not noticing the increased taste or vapor production, though: The vapor tastes kind of weak and dry.
I'll keep messing with it, until I figure it out. We've got to go on a trip, though. Inconvenient timing, as usual. I'll check back in a few days with an update.

It does work better as you use it and juice consistency is very important to get right. If you've got any PG lying around, it's always useful to try and cut the juice down to the right consistency.
Slurping noises are normal and vary a lot with each atomiser - you don't get them much if you use the extra little bit of filler but you may not need this unless you have quite thin juice.
Some atomisers are better than others also - I had another slightly dodgy one the other day that was pretty crap and only lasted a day, however, the one before that and the current one I am using now have been ones that have gone on for more than a week I think - and a really NICE week of AFS vaping.
