Just changing the battery and i noticed juice had leaked in there. The other day I pulled the brass top pin out to clean it, I didnt realize it had the 2 little o rings in there forcing it back in I pushed em both out destroying one hence the leak.I took it all apart was when I discovered what had happened :(. I managed to borrow a ring from the atomiser tip that came with the gg and have it all back together now. We live and learn.Just been to order 0rings from esmoke guru. Was a stupid mistake, the brass pin didn't actually need to come out, and if i dissembled it rather than just yanking it out it wouldn't have broken.

Oh the lil brass screw in the button on the gg keeps loosening itself, came apart in the car the other day and the lil brass spring flitted across the car.Again i didn't know it came apart so didn't know to keep it tight. I had one of those scarey where the hell will I get one of those from moments before i found it lol. Im worried about over-tightening the brass part ¬.¬ brass can snap. Any tips on how to keep it from moving?

Ah, thanks vinny:)

Dan, keep with a polygonal tool or pliers the hexagonal head of the button's pin and screw hard with your fingers the head of the button. You have to wear non slippery gloves to do that. You can buy them very cheap from a pharmacy. Like this the button will not get unscrewed again.

ps....... I left all buttons unscrewed so the customer can screw them as hard as he wants. I did that because in the past some people couldnt unscrew the button because I had screwed very hard.

Ah rubber gloves ill try that ,yes was the button, I didn't realize it all came apart ¬.¬ i do now lol.now i know ill take more care with it. I just would idly wind the button lock up and down think I was slowly unscrewing it all. It all took such a long time to get in the first place I'm terrified something will happen to it. I shall have to learn to strip it down and reassemble it blindfolded like they do with guns :)

love ma gg tho they will have to pry it from my cold dead hands

Yeah when I first snagged my SS GGTB directly from Bruce's hands at VaperCon 2012 the button kept coming loose. One day I was driving home and the button completely fell apart when I took it out of it's little silky pouch I kept it in, and I lost the spring. Turns out though that this was a great thing to happen because the pen spring I replaced it with gave almost zero resistance and the button was even better after that. Then Imeo told me to hold the button tight and screw the pin end of it really tight with a pair of pliers. Never once came loose again after that. That spring is still in my car somewhere to this day but I could not freaking find it no matter how hard I looked!

Talking about cleaning the brass contacts. There was much discussion about various fine grit sandpapers. I have found rubbing the contacts on a piece of paper seems to do a good job, gets the dirt off leaves it nice and shiny. The sand paper I have lying around at my house I'm fairly sure would destroy the soft brass in seconds and basically I'm too lazy and mean to order in something specifically for the job.
