I am vaping 24mg juice and find that I am turning into an insomniac at night. Is it because of the strength of the nic juice do you think? Maybe back down a few steps after dinner?

As well, wild dreams which might also be due to the high strength nic levels? Dreaming about smoking cigarettes? I woke up this morning having a dream that I started smoking again only to find my PV on the dresser as per normal. Dreams are way more vivid....

Thoughts?

The dreams are normal, many get those all part of the withdrawal stages, sorry I don't have a link handy but there's a pretty good article on ECF with many if not all of the withdrawal symptoms etc.

Yeah u should have some 18 or even 12 on hand for those few hours before going to bed, kinda helps to unwind.

Hope u make it all the way this time.

I dream about smoking a cigarette about once a week.. I will wake up with cravings after every one of them. The cravings quickly subside though.

It's only been 5 months for me.. but I still have cigarette cravings.. I haven't had a single one since I started vaping.. so perhaps having one will make my brain realize I don't like them anymore.. the last memory I have of a cigarette is it being so satisfying..

OMG...I totally hear you all ! hehehe I knocked back my juice to 18mg and am going to get some 12mg to vape in the evenings. The dreams are insane. I don't remember ever having dreams before like this and some are outright crazy and so vivid. It's nice to hear that it's not just me.

I certainly dream about cigs since quitting. I remember it happened the last time I tried to quit as well.
I usually have vivid dreams whether I'm cig free or not. I found that since I am a vivid dreamer already, when I am quitting cigs and vaping instead I end up having really vivid, almost lucid dreams. I remember one night when I tried quitting a few years back I was actually able to wake up in my dream. I see this as a perk, since I looove dreaming.
I know of people that don't smoke that use nicotine patches to assist with lucid dreaming (something I would NOT recommend) so I would be willing to wager that the nicotine most likely is contributing to your nightly experiences (dreams and insomnia). I would recommend, just as others have, to cut down on your nic mg. I vape 9mg now since, like you, I tend to end up with insomnia if I vape too much nic.

Canada eh!
Just thought I would put in my 2c. I believe your increased dreams and the more vivid nature of them are simply a natural reaction to quitting your addiction. Even though you are vaping, you are still getting less nic, and also the physical action is different (how you move your body when you vape assuming you are not using analog a likes). What you describe is extremely common in drug addicts (bad comparison, but bare with me chemical addiction is chemical addiction).

By quitting analogs, you have messed with one of your body's coping mechanisms, the dreams are a result of your changing brain chemistry as your body adjusts (it's essentially your subconscious fighting back). It's not even just the differing nic levels, but your brain has to handle stress and other outside stimuli differently.
As your body gets more accustom to not smoking, you will find the dreams will become fewer and fewer and further apart. You may also even notice you may smell the exact smell of a cigarette from time to time, when you are some where no one has or is smoking. This is just part of the withdrawal process. These things can happen as long a year later and the scent thing may come from time to time beyond that even up to several years (it doesn't happen in everybody, but it is common) although the longer you stay away from cigs, the less often you should notice them.
You can try reducing your nic level a few hours before bed, however I doubt (imo) you will notice that making a difference. I was reading a study by the leading greek ecig researcher (I can't spell his name ) had done recently about the nicotine absorption levels of vapers. The result was that the average vaper, would have to vape 18mg ejuice for about 35min to equal the same nic absorption of 1 analog.

Anyway, I Hope this helps. Keep at it, it sounds like you are doing great!!.
