Liquid Reviewed:
TastyVapor's PLAIN Waffle at 10% VG / 90% PG, and 12mg. vaping on a Little Chuck 4.1v-3.7v with a Low Resistance 510 atomizer.
Let me start off by saying that I ordered an ounce of this Waffle liquid from Tastyvapor during the trial period, so I have had the chance to let my first bottle age and I can give a clear comparison between aged and fresh from the mailbox
Categories will be rated from 1-10, 1 being awful and 10 being the best. Some categories can not be rated, therefore I will leave those blank with no numbers.
Color:
A very pale amber. You can see right through the liquid and on to the other side.
Smell upon opening: 10
Amazing. If you were to put this in front of a blind person they would think you were offering them a hot toasty waffle with freshly melted butter and warm syrup. Incredibly accurate smell. My mom likes to take my bottle when I'm not looking just to open it and smell it, lol!
Thickness:
I have quite a few other liquids from Tastyvapor that I have ordered in 10% VG and this seems to be a little thicker than most. Not by much, just enough to be noticeable.
Taste on inhale: 7
*note* I inhale by taking the vapor into my mouth and THEN inhaling*
You can feel the slight sweetness of the vapor as you take the vapor into your mouth. That's about it for the inhale.
Taste on exhale through nose AND mouth: 10
Insane!!! The syrup and butter REALLY pull through when exhaling via nose. I can almost taste the crunchiness of the waffle. While exhaling I get the strongest urge to chew. My brain is so confused by "is it a real waffle or not?" It leaves an aftertaste of sweet toasty Waffle without the syrup and butter after exhaling. This is such a bold flavorful liquid. I can't even comprehend how Geoff created something so accurate. I have not tried other Waffle liquids myself but I have heard many times around the forum that some other vendors waffle tastes like nothing but butter. This is such a rich balance of fresh Waffle, browned to a perfect toast, maple syrup and melting butter mixing all together to create a delicious outstanding flavor.
Vapor Production: 9
As I said, the juice seems to be thicker than other juices with the same VG content. And I think that really contributes to the amazing vapor production from Waffle. I have not yet been disappointed with the vapor output.
Throat hit: 7
Surprisingly, this liquid REALLY has a nice throat hit. Although at times, I find myself wanting more throat hit from it. Sometimes it does not satisfy my needs. I do wonder whether or not the throat hit would be more intense with 100% PG and higher nic content. But it does pack a VERY nice kind of throat hit. The kind that, as you inhale, gives a sort of "heavy" feeling along with tingling in the back of the throat and tongue. So it is definitely NOT disappointing. It just wouldn't work for me on one of those "days" where swallowing nails wouldn't be enough. Haha.
Atomizer health:
I can't really rate this category. Just thought I'd add my thoughts on this. Since waffle is a very clear liquid and light in color, I would assume that's the reason I have not had even one tiny problem with the atomizer clogging up, tasting bad, or otherwise. Infact, I have had to clean my atomizers less since I started vaping Waffle.
Aging: This juice does not need to be aged. As I stated up there ^, I have a bottle that has aged for a month and one that I just got not even a week ago. They both taste the exact same. Which is a great thing so those of you eager to try it can rip open your packages and vape it right away
Hope I covered everything and if I missed something let me know!! This is a liquid worth getting. You can order an endless combination of flavors if you want. Just a few examples: blueberry cheesecake Waffles, banana cream pie waffles, chocolate waffles, or even the VaporingQueen version: Vanilla custard Waffle with a hint of double chocolate! I highly reccomend Tastyvapor's Waffle!
