I had 3 purple shorty diamonds with pink LEDs, and today I've lost one! :( It's the first battery I've lost, so I'm disappointed.

I had it in the car, took the wow nuport carto off to put on my PT, at the end of the afternoon the battery has disappeared. It is probably in there somewhere, but it's a new car and I can't find it.

In my last car I once dropped a Heaven Gifts generic 808 down between the seat and the centre console. I felt so stupid spending so much time & effort retrieving it. If it had been a cigarette back in the days when I smoked, I would've left it there and pulled out another one.

Oh well, at least it was a '3rd wheel'. I usually have my batteries in pairs. Made me wonder about losing batteries. Do these lost souls usually turn up eventually, or are they usually gone for good?

Lost in the car......oh how those lovely seats just loooove to hide our goodies....used to be lighters, now it's the batts.....naughty naughty seats! try taking a pen or ruler and run it right under the seat tracks.....that is the best hiding place under those confounded thievin seats:) They love it there cause our fingers just cannot get there good enough:p
Good Luck Katz!

I lost one the other day! A regular with a carto attached! It was lost for about 3 days, then I was digging through my backpack looking for something else and found it :) Now paperclips on the other hand, I don't know how I lose so many of those!!I had to stick extras in my tackle box and now I'm down to one in there!

ETA:Oh, and one time I turned too fast and my cartos/condoms/batts went flying under my seat. I probably looked drunk, swerving all over the road while trying to find them! Only missed one carto (but a very important one) so when I got to school I dug around and found it!

I can't count the number of times I have "lost" and "found" batteries :) I did actually loose one but that's because I failed to pick it up as we were leaving a bowling alley...can't believe I was in a bowling alley :p But, in my defense, I am pretty certain it was STOLEN <gasp> by a very jealous smoker who was asking me all sorts of questions about vaping :) Giving you a V4L card wasn't enough???

Look between the console and the seat ... that's where mine used to end up.

I've lost a couple of batteries ... one to a _very_ fun bachelorette party (wasn't really very happy about that - twas a 2 week old XL purple auto that I LUV'D) and one to some jerk who I gave a card to, set up a spare so that he could check it out, and then lied to me when I asked if he'd given it back to me just before we left (yes, there was alcohol involved.)

Serious disappointment every time it happens. Since yours is most likely in your car, your odds are good for finding it. Check those seat tracks too, keela is most likely right and that's where the little bugger is hiding from you.

Good Luck!

Katz, I too just realized last week that one of my Diamonds (red-on-red regular) has gone missing. (I'm a bad battery momma -- just too many of the darn things to keep track of LOL!)

I have yet to pretzel myeslf around the car seats, but IF it turns up, I'll bet that's where it's hiding. In the meantime, I just tell myself that I have an excuse to buy another red-on-red Diamond!

I'm wondering about the possibility of adding a teeny-tiny GPS unit in each batt??!!?? Or maybe a small musical chip set to go off like the clapper (clap on - clap off) to help locate these precious batts................

 Might push up the price a little and be embarrassing in public

This morning I had to check the car ashtray, because I do put them in there when I'm not vaping. But no, it wasn't going to be that simple. I don't have this problem with the PT, if I drop it I can use the wire to get it back.
This is what I get for buying a 'stealth' car. :2cool: Black, with tinted windows, black leather seats, black carpets, black everything. Oh well, at least it was a purple battery not black, and the diamond tip might reflect the flashlight when I search for it later today.

Another good reason to buy all those diamond batteries folks!

Stop Looking, I found it !!!:banana::banana: And yes, I am embarrassed by how happy this makes me.

It had somehow gotten onto the floor in the back passenger side and gone under the floor mat. Given that my none-too-delicate daughter sits there, I am grateful it is still in pristine condition.

Ms. Katz this is what makes the lanyard so valuable. Never go anywhere without it. No fear of losing the batt...

So very true M'Dir. The V4L lanyard just isn't my style, simply wouldn't go with the way I dress, however I have considered those sold by an opposition company (hope it's ok to post this on V4L forum) V2 LANYARD - V2 CIGS. Ridiculously expensive, especially as I would throw away all except the rubber tip & loop, and attach to something more ... moi. ;)

Hold off on the purchase, Katz...I think someone had a solution for attaching battery to lanyard that wasn't quite so klunky :p

I agree that we need a more "elegant" solution to attaching the battery to our bodies (outside of a staple gun which has tempted me on more than one occasion)...one that doesn't make think I am back at Woodstock with the leather hats and vests and pants and...well, you get the picture :)
