Wait.. Beauty ring?

Using a protank 3 with evic supreme, do I have use for the beauty ring for airflow? It threads onto my evic, but then my atty is too high from the 510 connector to thread on, but when I slightly unscrew the protank, 1/4 turn, it hits a bit better.
I'm probably better off just getting a clearomizer with adjustable airflow built in huh?

first of you can take the ring off i do not like them but it is 100 times easier to rip the "guts" of the battery out that way i ruined more ego batts that way. my protank 2 hits the same way but i prefer a tighter draw so it works. I noticed my air holes dont line up correctly with anything which is probably the reason. An adjustable air flow would be nice but i'm guessing your still pretty new to vaping? If so you might want to hold off on what could be $30 tank that i tend to hear a lot of mixed opinions about.

The ring is just a spacer ring to hide the screws...from what I have gathered, its just a spacer ring to hide the threads and that's the only function.

Ah nvm, was just hoping it was a solution to all my protank issues. I'm off to an aerotank or nautilus I suppose

check your reviews on both, i personally i am not a fun of kanger bad experiences, but ihear a lot of bad with the nautilus coils not to defer you from either

You don't need the beauty ring when using an evic. They are for usage with ego style batteries as they don't have any covering around the ego threading.
Your tank should sit flush without it and airflow should not be affected.
Same for the Nautilus and aerotank. (I'd pick the aerotank 2 if I was you)

Kanger sells a Aero tank base for like 5 dollars that will work with the pt3 if your would like more control. But the beauty ring is not required.

I found without a beauty ring it didn't feel very sturdy. I have had to drill one of my beauty rings bigger for slightly better airflow

buy the air flow regulator. It is five dollars. Changes the tank 100%. I thought that all of the claims were just puffery, but they aren't. 101Vape has them. Really, the piece is $5. Go for it before you spend another $30.

Can you give a link I tried searching there using "air flow regulator" and such but came up empty. I have found it on other places but was going to order a mvp and a few things from 101 and thought I would rather get it there

You're looking for an AFC, Air Flow Control, Kanger Airflow Control Valve - Protank II, Protank 3, Aerotank. They make a huge difference.

I think you misunderstood me I did say I have seen them on other sites just going to do some ordering from 101 and can't find them there...

If you can't find them on 101 you can always get the airflow rings on eBay for cheap. 5$ for the first gen ring and 8$ for the new style. Either would work on your Protank.

Ya that's what I thought just got excited when pokemom said 101 had them. As I am getting a Aspire mini and a mvp2 form them for my brother to help him get off cigs.

beauty ring does protect the threads and provides a transition look to the battery if your using a slimline like a spinner or twist. I just bought an Aspire Nautilus(5ml) with the BVC heads and its amazing. Im vaping a 1.8ohm coil at 13 watts and sitting on clouds like the carebears. not burnt taste in site or a flood on the horizon. good luck
