Waiting for my New 801

I currently have a 510 and wanted to get another PV thats battery would last longer. So I ordered a DSE-801 kit from E-Cig Supply, how do these PVs compare to getting a new Mega Battery for the 510? (which might be my next purchase)

The 801 battery lasts me about 6 hours compared to the mini which is about 2 @ the most but be warned they leak like nobody's business I have to wrap cart in napkin when I refill but when they are on they are on really good hit.

So the cart leaks when vaping? Or does it just leak when you refill it?

Sometimes when I pick it up it's wet & like just now my battery is going off & on & I thought it was just getting old because I've had it for 4 mos. but I blew on it & there is liquid in there so I guess it leaks often but definitely when you take the cart off to refill it leaks everytime. Well mine do anyway. I think I've seen a thread on here before about them but I can't recall for the life of me where it was. Oh, It doesn't leak when I'm actually vaping that I've noticed.

yeah i had that problem too when i started with my 801. then i learned how to fix it. if u r dead set on using carts, when u top off ur cart, make sure to squeeze the walls, when u think u have enough juice in there to last u a while, squeeze ur bottle of juice and the cart simultaneously to form a puddle of juice on top of the cart, then dip the tip of ur bottle in the puddle and suck up the excess. then squeeze the cart one more time to get the juice worked down deep into the cart fibers. without replacing the cart take a pull or two on ur PV to burn any puddles of juice around the coil/ bridge and then replace the cart. this method worked well for me, to keep it from leaking. then again u could always just start dripping, like i do now, the flavor is much more intense and the vapor is too. good luck

I'm still waiting on my new e cig also. But i'll have to wait a while longer. With memorial day tomorrow.

I've had all kinds of troubles with getting my DSE801 to wick well. Same with the Joye Stick which uses the Joye 302 (their stick) atomizer. That said I agree with the others. When/if you get it to wick you'll be amazed at the tons of cool tasty vapor. You will notice a big difference from the 510. I found the best cart mod was blue foam dart (BFD) for these even though I prefer the straw mod for my 901 carts.
