Walking the dog with a beer

So after 20 years of smoking, I could do almost anything I was capable of while smoking a cig. But after switching to my halo triton, (I'm not advocating for halo) I was having a hard time taking my dog for a walk. If I held my beer in the same hand as leash, my dog would jerk my hand and slosh my beer. If I held my ecig in the same hand as the leash, my dog would jerk it from my mouth. Both we're annoying. Finally after 2 months I figured it out. Without pics I hope to describe in a right handed fashion: my thumb and pointer finger hold the ecig, finger on button, wrapped kinda behind the can, so the mouthpiece is pointing east, if the opening of the can was south and your facing north, the can is held with pinky and ring finger against base of thumb. It's a bit awkward, but I can finally one hand drink/vape with the dogs leash in the other. When the plastic bag is needed, I still have to ditch something! Pointless thread maybe, but it was a funny discovery for me!

Hmmm, interesting how we figure out how to multitask, no matter what the circumstance, to do what we enjoy best and still take care of business.
