Buying VG locally. Criminal connection?

I and my fellow DIY mixers have every right to buy our ingredients from any store and use them. USP VG is USP VG. USP PG is USP PG. If *I* choose to purchase my DIY items online or pick them up locally it is my choice. I do not wish to wait for my VG and PG so I get it locally. Is that a crime?

You do have the "right" to buy what you wish from anywhere you wish. No crime involved! I'm just saying that IMO, buying from Publix/Walmart/CVS is not a WISE decision. I also don't believe USP is just USP. any more than I believe one physician is as good as any other physician.. or one teacher is as good as any other teacher
This is all just MY OPINION and I'm not stating anything else. I'm certainly calling anyone "wrong".. just saying that they are making an unwise decision.
I saw some VG at Michael's and all I had to do was shake the bottle to know it was NOT the same quality as the VG I had purchased online. Also, I will never vape anything purchased from a tractor supply store. PERIOD. Just call me ignorant or prejudiced or whatever. But it ain't gonna happen!

ok, I've only been vaping for 12 days and I may never get into the DIY end of it but in case I do....what is the shelf life of PG & VG ? 6 months ? A year ? Sorry if I missed this in the above posts but my eyes get a little dodgy after 6 pages. Thank you.

They say no longer than TWO years. Some will even say Six months or less - depending on the Juice - and if you have been vaping long enough I can see why someone could have the experience in saying that.

The shelf life of PG & VG could be very long, but I remember a chemist or a pharmisist saying that it could only be marked a year long on the label.

Once mixed with other components, though, is a different story.

The cooler it is and the less contact it has with air, the longer it will be good for.

I found VG locally in the Michael's store. It was in their baking section along with some basic flavors. I paid right around $2.00 for 2 oz. Cheaper than buying thru some of the diy sites.
