Hopefully this hasn't been discussed before. My search was 'fruitless'.

Anyone else find that after vaping rather heavily that the flavor seems to diminish?

I've been switching to another favorite flavor just to get a flavor hit. Well, I just discovered that when the flavor tapers off, all I need to do is to inhale underneath my tongue. Eureka, I like!

Maybe I'm odd. But I would like to hear what others think of the method. dunno_YOGWPS.gif

I'll have to try that. I've found that sipping ice water refreshes my taste. And sipping hot liquids dulls my sense of taste and I believe liquor does too.

I use 2 ecigs with contrasting flavors. Very contrasting. One has a sweet vanilla. And the other has a barely sweet dark cocoa tobacco (Vapor4Life WOWbacco). They contrast well.

I have similar issues. I can vape a single flavor all day but by the end of the day I cant taste it anymore. So I switch to another flavor and Im all good...until that flavor goes away. Then back to the first flavor and rinse repeat over and over.

I just tried it by holding my tongue up on the roof of my mouth (I think thats what you meant) and it did taste a little different to me, very intersting! I also second Valsacar that it could be battery power drop off. I dont know what your setup is, but that could be a very reasonable explaination especially if you're using smaller "cig sized" batts.

Taste buds can and do get burned out on occasion. Drinking something can help with getting flavor back. Sometimes if vaping a strong juice you can ruin your taste buds for 24 hours or more. I have had that happen when I kept getting juice splattering in my mouth. I could not taste anything right for two days.

Interesting discussion. I have noticed that after a day of especially heavy vaping (usually when a batch of new flavors arrive) that the next morning, my tongue feels kinda like it did after smoking analogs heavily. A little numb and sense of taste is diminished. Thought that was a little wierd.

That has to be a joke lol im not falling for it ha

C'on... we know ya tried it. :p

As to batt drop off, this is when I discovered the UTVD (under tongue vapor delivery) technique. Granted, a fresh batt does seem to deliver more. But even with the low ones, this technique does give 'more' flavor for me.

Maybe it's just because I'm an ol' fart and started smoking back when the air was clean and sex was dirty...

ETA: I use the eGo MEGA with LRs. Gonna buy another starter set so I can 'vapor hook' some of my smoker buddies I know.

Also, if you're a PV advocate, go to the ECF store and get the ECF cards to pass out. Got mine Wed and I've shed 20 of 'em thus far. Spread the PV word/ECF cards!
