My favorite as I mentioned in a different post earlier is the 510 Excalibur clearos, for the following reasons - a) they don't pool in your battery b) they are completely rebuildable so buying a few complete ones and (e.g) 5 tanks, 5 attie bottoms and 5 coils will keep you going for ages c) they're a lot greener - only toss away the one bit that's broken not the entire $5-8 clearo d) they are wonderful to clean (because all the bits unscrew). I use 100% VG where possible and 2.2-2.4 ohms for what that's worth. No problems with tanks or atties at this point. as to bad stuff, none except maybe I wouldn't call the following a disadvantage so much as a tip - when unscrewing from the battery, make sure you're unscrewing from the atomizer bottom and not the tank unless you want a lapful of your finest juice. Yes, I have done this. Duh.

And now, taking all this VGPG and nicotine and whatnot into consideration, what do I want in terms of tanks and/or cartomizers? I currently have a KGO 1100 mAh, and have been using 2.0 ohm LR atomizers. It was mentioned that tanks will mute the flavour, and since I really enjoy taste as well as being lazy and don't want to be refilling all the time, should I opt for a clearomizer? I've seen comments about leakage, so obviously I don't want to deal with that.

What, there's cartomizer tanks?! 1.5 ohm Metal dual coil tank system by TPR | The Plume Room
Blarg. Confuzzeled and starting to get overwhelmed again.

Tanks. Duel coil. Cartomizers. Cartridges. Atomizers. Clearomizers. Ohms and coil heads. Rebuildable. Wahhh.

I might've dripped some juice on my mattress and now my bed smells like vanilla caramel frapp. :D All part of the learning process. :)

ya, I,m not a huge TH fan and LOVE my huge vapor output i like the hookah hits that fill a room, but im been experimenting DIY to get it though i think i need a vg straight nic base i only vape 6%nic but a straight VG fluid sounds good and my shop only goes to 50/50 BUT with the higher VG is'nt the viscosity too high for most devices except for maybe a atty?

Some product vendors say using too much vg in your clearo or atty will cause it to foul up sooner; producing a burnt taste. Some devices will not wick well while using a mostly-vg based eliquid. I think Hulamoon uses vg-based liquids with his(or her;my appologies if a her :p) Excalibur tank with good success (correct me if I'm wrong Hula). In fact, I am currently browsing the Vapors Choice store while flipping back and forth from here to there looking for the Excalibur. They have super great prices, btw. I am really excited to try this Excalibur; it looks like the perfect tank for me. I don't like the ones I have now as I am always flooding them and they pool on my battery constantly producing that nasty burnt juice flavor:blink:

LOL - yes I'm a her. I do use 100% VG, whenever I can as I'm sensitive to PG, (dry throat, hard cough when inhaling, heavy feeling in lungs) and find that for most of the juices I've purchased that they're thin enough. A little water can thin them further. I think the only atty killers I've used are from natural extract tobacco juices (NET's). Anyway, I'd suggest buying 1 or 2 and see how you get along with them. And replacing an atty for a couple of dollars is still cheaper than buying a whole new whatever-it-is. Update us all on how you all get along with them. Vaper's Choice is very popular on the forum so keep them tagged, they'll get more supplies in soon, I'm sure. :)

That's a LOT nicer than 555! eewwwww. I slopped that all over myself in McDonalds when hubby stopped in to get an ice cream. Boy, but people were looking at me strange with crinkly noses when they walked past!

That actually sounds like an interesting idea. I have put a drop or three purposefully on a paper towel and left it on the desk just so it "freshens" the work space though. The only worry I'd have is with staining.
