I've settled on the MVP 2 as my first real (non-gross non-disposable) setup, but the more I think about it the more I want something more pocket friendly as a backup and for some trips out of the house.

I've looked at the 1100mAh KGO starter kit from Hoosier because it seems to come up a lot when people ask for starter recommendations, and I've also been looking at a few different kits based on the 1300mAh Vision Spinner battery. One more I was looking at was the Triton starter kit, but I just don't know, I'm at the information overload stage where I can't decide what I want.

I don't have unlimited funds to sink into this, but I want to avoid buying something that I hate and wasting money on something that'll be replaced as soon as I can afford it. =/

Do any of those stand out as a clearly better choice, or does it come down to aesthetics and personal preference? Thanks in advance!

Ego twist and an Aerotank mini or Protank. I still use my Ego even with having VV/VW and mechanical devices. It all depends on what you want to spend and what you are looking for in a set up. I think a lot of people end up moving to more advanced set ups at some point. I think the MVP is a good buy. I would go to a few vape shops and look at what they offer or recomend.

I got the MVP and loved it so much. I previously had Vision Spinners, which worked well, but the MVP was so much better. I decided if it works, don't fix it, and ordered a second MVP. I keep one charged up and ready to go at all times. I've gotten used to the box style, and it fits nicely in a pocket in my purse. I'm female, but usually wear slacks or jeans and when I'm in the car, it fits nicely on the seat between my knees and is easy to pick up and vape. I was always "losing" the Vision Spinner because it is smaller and rolls around.

Hi Tess, That MVP is a great unit but I get what you mean about pocket friendly. That 1100mAh KGO looks nice but look 2 further to the right. When I first read your question I thought EVOD, they're easy and dependable. Consistent performance and very durable. Also if you want to go cheap last week I saw a genuine Kanger EVOD blister pack for $16. I couldn't believe it. It was only 650mah but it looked like the real deal.
Like I said I like EVOD. Good luck with your quest.
