What's up everyone?!

I've been vaping for a couple years now but out of the mainstream info stream. Just been rocking my Snow Wolf 235 with a couple random tanks here and there.

I'm looking to upgrade to something new that will last. tank and mod. Something that will chuck some clouds with some flavor. Not real specific on the mod, prefer regulated, but I'd like to be able to rebuild the tank with something larger than just Clapton's.

Any help would be great!

i'm not a cloudchaser so can't really comment....i'd say at least a 2 battery mod though maybe even a 3 battery mod....
maybe the aegis legend? it takes a beating and keeps ticking...
can't really suggest a tank, i'm an rda gal :p
but the tank that came with the aegis was pretty decent

honestly it depends on your priorities in a mod.

If your a cloud chucker then juice consumption might be a concern for you, if so, I recommend you give squonking a try with the Ohm Boy x Desire Rage Squonk 155W Mod, it's a dual battery regulated mod that has a 7ml squonk bottle - I believe the squonking crowd likes it. @Hightech Redneck would know for certain..

You'll be able to choose any BF RDA you like to go with a squonker, or just buy a bf pin for one you already have... RDA's in general have roomier decks than RTA's do, so you'll be able to use more exotic builds.

However, if temperature control is your thing, then a mod with the DNA250c would be in order, with the steam crave aromamizer plus v2 as your topper..

There is a lot to choose from really, if you just want something decent, basic, with good battery life for a lower price point then the Geekvape Legend might work nicely for you, again with the Steam Crave topper..

So... your priorities are important to know really, for the best recommendation.

Hi and welcome :)

I would strongly advise an RDA for clouds and builds especially now you can vape them using a squonker. I've got the vandy vape pulse X and I love it but battery life is limited so for you it might be better to get a twin battery squonker. Something like the topside, the rage or if the budget stretches get a dna device like the Lost vape drone 250c.

For a RDA i love the kennedy, the banshee, drop dead, mesh pro etc...all seriously good flavour.

Imo RDA's produce the best flavour you can experience with vaping. I tried a RTA when they first came out and it leaked all over the place...I haven't been near one since.

I hope this helps and good luck to you :)

He's kind of hard of hearing, you really have to yell.

@bombastinator
Hmm...? What? Sorry, did I hear my name being used in vain?

Steamcrave aromamizer plus? I love that atty. I’m not the local expert though. I’m forgetting who is. @vapdivrr maybe? I bought mine a while ago. I do build it with physically large coils though.

The RTA is really really large, but with large size comes large juice capacity and a large vapor chamber.

A legend with an aromamizer will get you noticed. It’s one of the physically largest rigs that can be pocketed. Phrases like “what the :censored: is that thing? It’s gigantic!” Will fall from the mouths of strangers.

This may or may not be what you want.

While the coils I’ve been building are physically much larger than super sub ohm exotics, they don’t actually vape any better. I’m trying to make an easy to wind single coil that works merely as well as an exotic without the complication. As far as an actually better vape though that is a value judgement, and not personally one I even make. My suspicion is the coils I am currently messsing with vape a lot like a mesh coil. I’ve never vaped a mesh coil myself though so I do t know for sure.

read op post only
for a cloud chasing tank go with massive coils only in this itd a rdta but is a rda without the need to drip $10.53 (Free Shipping) Apocalypse GEN 2 Styled RDTA Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomizer (SS, SS Color) at m.FastTech.com
for a mod ?? More info needed
power mode only? temp control needed?
also big hands? heavy mods ?light mods ?square oblong etc
Imho 2.6ml isn’t enough for big cloud DL. 5ml+ would be more in keeping. Big cloud DL just powers through the juice and there’s no real way around it. This was why squonks were mentioned earlier I think. If the OP wants to mess with TC there seem to be two options: high complication or high expense. The OP already has a snow wolf so the high complication TC option is already covered. I have been given to understand that The snow wolf has the capacity to do excellent TC. It’s merely that you need to learn the desktop software and be willing to go a bit deep.

The high cost option is to get a DNA200 or 250 mod. EVOLV (the maker of the DNA chip) still to this day basically owns flawless TC. Lots of different manufacturers use their boards so there are many form factor options. Every one of them costs over $100 new though.
If the OP wantS to go whole hog, and get a DNA250c squonker the Lostvape drone 250c and the vapecige VTX200 squonk (which recently changes its name to something else) are both available. Both are two battery mods in a 3 battery form factor. (In a squonk mod one battery slot is taken by th juice bottle) Both have the same chip, both very stupidly chose to not protect their screen, which can be broken.

old Dna boards have issues if anyone was to go Dna color options only
edit to add my 75w mods have never had any problems just 200 and 250

that tank is plenty capacity for a sitting remembering the wick will hold a few mls too beats a rda topping up every 4 tokes

the vapeciges used to be made nice but that changed when they made the Dna color ones
i was looking to get one but...
drone and finder etc are prob the best still early days for the Dna color mods i have high hopes for the future
if not il go buy a ugly fsk mod :D

interesting. I had exactly the opposite problem. My 250cs have been terrific, but my 75c has issues.

agreed. I’m all squonkers now for DL except for the aromamizer plus, which is sort of an upside down add on squonker really. It vapes like an RDA, but it is not small.

IMHO if vapecige had put a shield on the face of the 200 and had usable customer support it would have flat out beaten the drone250c for a lower price to boot. Woulda coulda shoulda. If you don’t like the 250c chip you don’t like the 250c chip and there’s not much to be done. I’m not familiar with either the finder or the FSK. I’ve already got 2 double battery squonkers though which is one more than I really need.
