I've been looking at at new mod, I presently have an Ego and a Little Chuck. I am looking at the 5.0 mod and have a few questions. Please be very basic and simple ! LOL.

I use regular Janty 510 atty's. Is that okay for the 5.0 mod or do I need something else. I don't know if they are considere HV or Low's, but they work fine on my little chuck at 3.7 volts.

What battery does the 5.0 take? I have a ton of ultrafire 18650's 3.7 volt/1200 Will those work?

If I want a GLV, do they all come with that GLV written on them??

Thanks!

Regular 510 attys are just fine. The GLV uses 16340 3.6-3.7v batteries..sorry the 18650s will not work, and yes they do say GLV on them. Hope this helps.

I'd say regular 510's are midrange 2.3ohm.
Will work on anything that fits a 510, will just be a little different at each voltage.
Only problem I had was switching them from 5v back to 3.7V. Totally different vape. Worked fine, just different, but to be expected.

Solution 1.7 ohm for 3.7V to approximate 5V with regular 510 (at least that's the plan)

If you have a problem with FRYING atty/cartos at 5V faster than you'd like, you can get the 2.8-3.2 range to temper the power of the 5V a bit. (Also may be necessary if you feel you are toasting your favorite flavors on the 5V w/regular 510)

All of this is of course dealer's choice.

Thanks for the quick response. I meant the 18350's, but I'm assuming those are not compatible, either.

If I do get a different atty, like the HV , does that increase the vapor?

Thanks, again.

Not necessarily. If you get the 5v GLV then you would be best advised to get a 510 atty with a resistance of around 2.7-3.2 ohm range. And yes it would give more vapor than the reg 510 at 3.7v.

It's a sliding scale without getting too technical.
2.8-3.2 ohm ....... would recommend for 5V+ mainly because they will run COOLER and should LAST longer plus with 5V+ there isnt going to be lack of vapor unless you run out of juice or burn out atty/carto

2.3 ohm Regular 510 ..... works fine on anything, but differently at different voltage. More vapor the higher the voltage. Happy medium you might say.

1.7 ohm LR (low resistance) .... would stress a regular 510 battery, but much vapor.
Runs Hotter, drains battery faster, stresses batteries unless they are considered high drain.

Looks like the only mod that would use your 18350's, would be one that could use the 18350 for 3.7V and take two batteries to get you to 6V.

Remember if your mod stacks batteries you need to go a little beyond basic and simple to insure safe operation for the long run. Just need to be knowledgeable about best practices to keep yourself in a safe range.

So, a HV atty would be the best one, in your opinion?
