I've done so, so much research and I've made my choice. GLV it is. 3.7 for the girlfriend and 5v for me. In matching green. And full kits. Our 510's just aren't cutting it anymore and we need more everything. Jay, you seem to be the answer. I think I spent more time looking for a mod than I did buying my first pv. Some good people here on the GLV forum have been a great help too. I'm sure to have questions for Doots at some point....

Anyway, good luck with the next batch there Jay, hope to business with you soon! Can hardly wait.

- Geoff and Christine.

yeah after all the reading past couple months I'm reallylooking forward to a hv mod. I thought I was in my glory just using a PT but they seen to fluctuate and have their problems as well unless I consider one of the high end PT's, but I think a HV mod might be the way to go.

I'm with you there. My PT worked great and still kinda does, but it gets finicky like yours. The high end PT (Pure Smoker) costs as much as a mod almost. After all my reading and being a nicotine junkie, I believe the answer is 5v.

Still can't seem to narrow it down though. What was your deciding factors?

Briefly, Chuck is too big for a pocket, same with the Silver bullet. Plus I don't want to go up to 6v. Really like the Pure Smoker designs, but the Protege is 3.7 and the Prodigy, while 5v, has numerous switch problems and I'm not real confident ordering one. I know the V2 is coming out now, at it's my second choice. I'm too clumsy to make a nic box whatever mod or anything. I have a tremor problem that keeps me from using power tools or soldering irons.

I just haven't heard anything bad said about the GLV. That's what it boils down to. Sure there aren't that many out there, but look at some of the reliability issues that come up with other mods. And others may be great like the BB or GG or whatever. Some where just too pricey or turned me off in one way or another. GLV is local to me which i appreciate too. Warranty is only 4mo. But if it lasts 4 and dies, I may buy another. I'm still ahead.

These are just some of my thoughts. Use them as you wish.

Best of luck!

Hey beer I am working on getting the colors right now...all i have is polished. Just to let you know if the GLV ever breaks down after the 4 months i can do a total rebuild for about 15$ and have it back to new again...same goes for any GLV out there. I want everybody to keep in mind that I stand by the GLV, and my customers . I have had a few issues with the GLV but nothing to bad ...button issues mostly, but the new military grade button fixed all that. I will keep working to make the GLV nice looking, and to keep it dependable.
