I'm ssorry for this extremely
newbish ppost but I can't seem to get a clear answer. I want a better setup for home use and have decided I want an ego twist battery. What else do I need to buy? I'm assuming a cartomizers or clearomizer. What's difference between the two? Also I need to charge it and would need liquid. Is there anything else I need? IIf someone could be so kind to point out exactly (with links) to what I need to a decent setup that won't break the bank I'd be much obliged.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your help. After doing some research it seems a lot of places are selling "knock off" Ego c twists. I found a kit at vaporzhaven with a real Ego C twist for a good price and pulled the trigger.
I figured if I'm going to do this I should use the tried and true original version albeit more expensive.
So I'm gettin a 650mah batt a Kanger t3s clearomizer some eliguid called "Mr Brown" hope
It's good and another Kanger t3s. I have to play the waiting game now. I'm excited to try it out and wish it would arrive tomorrow or now lol.
In the mean time I will continue vaping with my "smoke to live" ecig. I think I'll use the smoke to live at work and the twist as my home setup.

Thoughts suggestions on improving on the ego c twist setup as a home device?

congrats on your decision- im using twists and i love em. i got mine at myvaporstore and im happy with them.

i went with 1000mah twists, and i got 2 of them. (went with one first, and decided later i needed a second to use when the first one is charging). got 2 chargers, one for home and one for work.

next youll need a tank, and i really like the Kanger EVODs. get a couple of spare atomizers for the EVOD too, theyre cheap. EVODs themselves are only $5ish, get a couple so you can switch between flavors easily.

as for juice, depends on what you like... Mount Baker Vapor is very popular, inexpensive, i like em. once i tried Cinnamon Roll, i was finished wanting anything that tasted like tobacco =P

good luck!

Did you say one battery? You should really have two. Nothing worse than having to wait for a battery to charge.

And, yeah, better to avoid knock offs. You're not really saving money if you get crappy batteries that die all the time. I dunno Vaporz Haven but the pics are of Joyetech branded stuff so that's good. And the prices look pretty competitive to me. I use 1000mAh Twists and expect to pay around $28 for them. Somewhere in that territory. Which isn't a bad price when you consider they should last around 300 charge cycles and I charge about once a day each. That's a year. Ish.

(Heh, that's around what 4 packs of cigs cost around here now and 4 packs wouldn't last me a year that's for sure.)

Since you're just getting started, don't jump into big bottles of liquids right off. Get small ones and sample packs and such. Not only are there tons and tons of flavors to explore but your tastes change when you quit smoking.

The one I'm vaping right now? I initially just loved it. Bought big bottles. Then, few weeks down the road, hated it. Then few more weeks, was... meh... about it. I'm vaping it anyway. It's kinda like mom telling you to sit there and finish your veggies or something like that. Money's too tight right now to turn my nose up at a liquid I spent so much money on. :)

What's the difference with an Evod and the TS3? Also I think I'm going to change my
Order and get the 1000mah one for some reason when I was configuring the kit at first it said tha option wasn't available. Now it's saying it is. I put in a call to customer support. It was only few dollars more for the 1000mah.
How long does a 650 last? I'd say I'm pretty heavy vaper.

The 650 lasts me a little less than a whole day as a 'medium' vaper. I use 1000s for everything now and the 650 for dripping to taste juices. This is a 1000mAh eGo-C Twist with a U-DCT 3.5ml Smoktech Tank and a Boge F16 cartomizer inside, also an eGo 'Beauty Ring' or shorty cone, or whatever you want to call it (it hides the eGo threads when using 510 connection). It's more like an e-cigar than an e-cig, you just have to get used to the larger size but its so much better of an experience than those little stick cig-alikes.

Hm... hard to say. I'm a pretty heavy vaper and tend to use the high end of the voltage level and get roughly six hours out of 1000mAh batteries. I'd guess I'd get about four hours out of a 650?

But since it is variable voltage, it... well... can vary?

Wow that's large. That's why I think I'll just use the "stick" setup at work but at home I'd like to have a nice setup. I'm very new to all if this but I'm very intrigued. I'm a techy so this very much interests me. I can see me going extreme with this as a hobby already and it should get girlfriend approval seeing as she's the one that got me to switch to e cig. I just wish she had discussed this with me first and not dropped 200 bux on a ma kiosk setup. I would of used the 200 a d had a very nice setup after researching. Oh well. At least my analog intake is down from 30 to maybe 3. Those 3 suck too but it's psychological still for me.

i seem to be kinda heavy vaper too, cant speak for the 650 but my 1000's last half a day to a day. ive heard folks say about 1 hour per 100mah.

i think the T3 and the EVOD are very similar. again never owned a T3 but they look near identical in pics. both are bottom coil designs. i tried a top coil (vision V2) and didnt like it as much- hot wet vape, spits at you a lot.

I ordered another c twist battery a 100mah and also a wall charger too. I got free shipping after talking to customer service. I'm happy so far with Vaporzhaven.com and no I don't work for them lol. Thanks again guys for all the help. You guys are awesome and quick to respond. I run a forum myself and seeing such a good response and friendly members is a great thing!
