Want to get into Mods and RBAs

So this is my first post and I'm not sure where this should go. But I've been vaping for a while and I started with a ego and iclear 16, moved up to a Innokin VV V3 with a iClear 30s. Now I want to get into mods and RBAs but I'm not positive on what exactly I need.

I've been looking around and was wondering if a good starting set up would be using a cool fire 1 which I like because it's not very big and pretty cheap, with a igo-l. I'm not sure if that would work or what but I was thinking all I have to do is make a coil that comes out to around 2.0 ohms and it should be good.

I'll be buying a Cool Fire 1 with a igo-L and use 28ga wire and 3.0mm ekowool. I'll also buy 2 Aw IMR 18350 batterys and whatever the cheapest charger I can find for them. Oh and of course purschasing the ohm meter. This is going to be my first try with RBAs. Thoughts on this set up? Are their good but cheaper alternatives to any of my choices? And also references to good cheap websites to get these supplies?:vapor:

First most - Hi and Welcome to ECF :)

Coolfire 1 is a great little device and you would probably be well served with it. You can go down to 1.5-1.7 without being to overtaxing on that as well. Igo-L is an RDA so its just for dripping, which is great as long as you arent expecting it to have any capacity like a tank. You can also go kayfun or russian if you would like an RBA as opposed to the dripper.

Please make sure **not** to buy "the cheapest charger you can find" that is a horrible idea. Your charger and batteries need to be top notch. There are many dangers in cheaping out where it matters most. Look into Nitecore i4, Pila and Xtar for chargers. A good tip - make sure the AW IMRs come from a reputable source (not eBay or Amazon) so you dont get re-wrapped fakes.

Good luck on your hunt for all of the perfect pieces involved in your next stepping stone :)
