I have a vamo v5 also. I do like it. I find I use it more then my svd, or my VTR. I wasn't trying to get in a passing match with anyone. I have a nautilus that has been just crap. Now my experience is the minority. Point is I don't try to bash every thread I see because my experience was bad.

Also, I have great luck with efest batteries. I use a tr-001 charger, which is Ok, but it's just temporary until my nitecore gets here.

I'm tired of seeing you claim they are "well built" because YOU don't know any better.

Ignorance is bliss, but making suggestions to others based on your own ignorance is borderline stupid. Especially when you've been told more than once how poorly these are built.

And it's not just mine, they are ALL built exactly the same. Yours too. Yours may work, you may like it, but remove that black plastic cap like I did and you'll find the exact same thing, twisted wires held together with cheap tape. And in your mind that is "well made"? Is the wiring in your TV or car held together with tape? No solder, no electrical connectors, just twisted together and held with tape?

Here's a little fact for you to mull over before you go telling someone else about how well made the SVD is. If it was marketed as a consumer electronics device in the US it couldn't be legally sold the way it is now. That's why it doesn't carry the CEA logo. It can't qualify for one, it's not built up to the required safety codes.

Hey man, it's not my fault that mine was built better than yours, sorry your a sourpuss. If it's REALLY that big of a problem for you then you can take it apart and add a damn insulator, Whats the big deal? Honestly it's such a minor problem that you could fix on your own that I don't see the point in being a big ol DBag about it. You must have dropped yours once and it broke on you, boo frickin hoo. I'm sorry about that and Im sorry that you feel the need to tell me that I don't know any better, Because I do. I Recommend this product because to ME it is a good one, I haven't had any problems like that with it. And even if I did, I wouldn't be a little baby and complain and comment about how poorly made it is, I would fix the problem myself and just warn people about it other than be lazy AF and just moan and complain about how poorly made it is.

lol, someone is upset! If it's poorly made, the community should know about it. If it's isolated incident of something sneaking past quality control at Innokin, then Innokin should be looking at their QC program. Any way you look at it, that fella has a right to be upset if he bought a substandard product.
