You know, there are plenty of tutorials here. You might have to read a little. I gave you the link to the Nicostick but I guess you want someone to create and post a tutorial just for you. If that's the case, maybe this isn't for you either. This is how the forum gets cluttered up with redundant threads that don't say anything.

I thank you for the link to the Nicostick, and I am in the process of reading through everything in the modders forum. You misunderstand the point of this thread. I'm asking for step by step processes of pv's people have made and haven't yet shared with the forum. Don't just assume because I start a thread asking for people to post said content means I'm some idiot who doesn't read through threads to find what they need.

This is just a way to make it a bit easier for everyone, because people who have done this kind of this before will see this thread and want to post whatever help they can.

Thank you, I agree with you.....No offense but this forum is so scattered. One has to spend so much time searching and searching and still will miss important info.

We had this problem in our Midnight Mansion iMac Game forum. The forum members are allowed to create custom mansions for everyone to play, after they purchased the initial game. There are over 100 CM's. Finding clues was a nightmare. It took days upon days of searching every thread or post.
Finally now, which I think would work beautifully here as well, the game designer agreed to clean it up by listing each CM game title separately in alphabetical order. Now, if we want to find something it is real easy. We just go to the game name and voila! Quick as a wink.

It took a while to find all the posts and group them, but the effort sure paid off.

This system is much needed here as well. This forum is so big now, that newbies like me have to spend so much time searching and still miss things, why, because of the time it takes to find things.

All models should have their own section......PERIOD.
And in that section you could have separate topics ie: battery life or
atty's or carts. But at least all the info pertaining to a certain model is under one category. It sure stops redundancy. It really frees up a lot of space because people don't have to post the same questions over and over, because they can't find the answers.

I know, I know, some of you will post reasons why not.....we had that problem with members negativity as well, but in the end, the game designer sided with some of us that had common sense and he did make the change. Life is so much easier now. Our forum is not scattered. It is logical and easy.

just my 3 cents.

Hopefully they will all be linked together soon. It is hard to find what you are looking for. I see nothing wrong with asking for tutorials. I do this all the time. It is actually a compliment to be asked I think. I hope you find what you are looking for very soon. When you do we will try to get it sticky or at least linked to the other classes in some way.

Hi, well, to you they might be tutorials, but to total greenhorns, not knowing what wire to solder to what part, lololol, they are not tutorials, they are chats amongst experts. Better put "shop talk".

My friend and I are also searching for step by step instructions and pics.
I have been reading and reading so many posts in the Modders forum and only saw one post, where the inventor gave a detail of instructions and pics.

All the other modders say they will post them, but they never get around to doing it. Then when you email them, they do not respond at all.

So, it is not fair to tell someone that has been searching to keep on searching because there is no detailed instructions or pics to search for.

Even the youtube DIY, are basically "shop talk" instructions. Not a mod 101 version.

I just watched a soldering video in the mod forum. Wow, now that is what I am talking about. Very detailed.

And that is what we need. Instructions & pics 101 for the mods.
