Oh no.... I am hooked..... I did not realize it but I'm hooked. I'm already planning my next mod. I think I'm gunna try to use the DNA chip I hear so much about. Looks super cool and seems to work well. Easy to install. What do you all think?

Same here LOL actually been reading a lot about the DNA12 chip and I like the little USB charger Evolv sells as well. Still brushing up on my soldering skills as it's been around 15 years since I did any work with it but it's all coming back super fast so I'm almost ready for production. I'm still searching for a good LCD/LED display for it though so I can see the watts, voltage, amps, battery charge, and all that jazz.

If you find a LCD/LED please let me know I want to include one on my build. This next build is going to be a while down the road cuz I'm in no hurry to build something new. The next one will be planned to the T.

Very Cool.

I wish I knew how to Hook Up all those Wires Correctly to be able to make my Own Mod.

4 months ago I did not know how to correctly hook up all those wires. My advice is to just keep reading. Go to YouTube and watch some vids on modding and an soldering. Then start with something easy like the Madvapes VV puck kit. It has all the parts you need to put it together and works well for a first mod. All you'll need to buy in addition to it is an soldering iron some super glue and some 14500 batteries. Good luck if you try your hand.

Thanks but I think I'm Doomed to be Stuck in my Happy Retail Mod Rut.

You see, as I get Older, it seems that my Fingers seem to Get Fatter at the Same Rate that my Eyes get Worse. And my Lack of Patience appears to Outpace them Both.

actually had a thought about writing an app for iphone/android where you can just hook it to your mod and set everything through it, would require a separate control chip tho...maybe i'll look into making one a little down the road

I want, I want, I want. That would truly be awesome. To be able to control my PV by using my phone. I saw your other post about it. I wish I had the knowlage and know how to make it happen.

It's actually a pretty cheap chip, think it was like $15, but programming it on the other hand would take some time. I'm still figuring out how to link it all together before I go ahead and buy the stuff.

Thinking something like this Tiny Arduino

Might just use something like that and code it independantly with assembly and C#.
