Ok guys, here is my question. I am about 3 months into vaping and loving the hell out of it. I have an MVP2, and an Istick. I use mainly tanks, (Aspire Nautilus with the BVCs is awesome), but I also want to get into RDA's to mainly test my DIY juice. I may want to try some sub-ohm builds, and I know neither device I have will fire them. So, with all the Black Friday sales going on, I was wondering whether to go with a mech, (found a deal on a Nemesis and Nimbus clone package with battery and charger included, 39.95), an Aspire Sub-ohm battery, or cough up a few more bucks for a Sigelei 50/100 watt? I can't say as I am 100 percent sure I would want to use a mech just because of the safety issues of the unregulated battery, but I do understand about the battery safety issues and using ohms law. Looking forward to any opinions or suggestions. Thanks

I bought a clone Nemesis for 22 bucks after swearing i'd never own a mechanical.....

I was tired of 22 penny switches going bad on VV/VW that was costing me $85+

I also bought a clone Kayfun, clone Ithaka and love them both.

So, now my upgrades will be authentic's....6 monthes later I still have all my teeth, all my origional batteries and I dont worry about atomizers going bad.

I'm just trying to figure out how I'm going to PAY for the authentic copper Nemesis and I cant find a real Ithaka.

to ecf perkidan. So glad to have you here. I am sorry, I know very little about sub ohm's but I do DIY and have the igo-L's for testing new favors. I started out dripping with those and they are super easy to build. Right now I am using a reo with rm2 and I think this will be my setup for the rest of my vaping life. I absolutely love it. It is IMO the ultimate dripper. Good luck to you and happy vaping.

Congrats on your new setup! That is a helluva deal. I have been using mech mods pretty much exclusively for about 10 months. I got the first one to test my DIY juice, and ended up using my tanks less and less, now they just collect dust. You should invest in some good batteries first. I am not sure what they are sending you, but you should check to make sure they can handle low ohms before using them. Mine is built at .3 ohms right now and I go through about 3 in a day, so you will need extras. Here's some things that may help.http://http://www.ohmslawcalculator.com/ohms_law_calculator.php

I would recommend a mech mod, the only problem my nemesis had was that the firing button got over twisted (due to my brother) and it got stuck in the actual tube and nothing can get it out. I don't use it anymore and I have gotten 3 mods since then but that's just something to look out for. Besides that everything was good with it.

Thanks everybody for the info. The battery that comes with it is a MXJO IMR 3.7 volt 2500 MAH, 35A (I read on here that it is probably 20 continuous). And I also ordered an Orbtronic SX30. I didn't pay attention when I ordered and got a flat top instead of button top. Will that be an issue in the Nemesis?

shouldn't be

I had this problem with my sentinel m-16 clone as soon as I got it home. Is there a screw head inside? If so, try and see if you can loosen it. Once you do that, you should be able to spin the lock.
