Robert said he would be designing a Reo with a space to take a Kick and run on an 18650 with that Kick. The Kick will be user replaceable. It will also be able to run just on an 18650 as well by use of a spacer where the Kick would have been.

That was referencing a rumor that started with a comment from Redeyedancer

I am seriously thinking about biting the bullet and ordering one today, I can be a little broke till next payday I think....

hmmmm

I miss all the good stuff. Bet woodvilles will be available tomorrow if I log off now.

mmm I like both those black/silver and silver/blue, quite nice!

I will probably limit myself to what is available in stock with the milled down catch cup.
Don't settle until you PM Rob with your wants. He's very responsive and can often create exactly what you want within a few days. 2 of my 3 Reos were out of stock or not listed on the site, a quick PM to Rob and they shipped the same week.

Thanks for the tip!

I am really tempted to make an order, but part of me knows that the upgraded contacts / spring / kit will be standard as soon as I do...

Decisions decisions :)

A REO will be in my hand before to long, one way or another...

Yes, PM him on the forum. He will respond and you will want to be setup in PayPal.

That's what got me in quick. When I found out I could use BillMeLater I was like Ooops.... 2 fell into my cart.

Totally off subject, but I gotta ask, in your signature banner you have REO spelled with an I? "3 RIO Grands Reomized"

Is that just a typo?

It's driving me nuts haha

Hmm there is a low profile black wrinkle with copper vein door in stock, I like the looks of that combo....

I kind of like the simple tumbled aluminum look too, and like the ease at which I could bling it up myself if I felt so inclined...

hmmmmm

Those tumbled one will polish up to a mirror shine too if you so desire.

Hard choice, my first Reo was black with copper door and the last was low profile tumbled. The tumbled feels silky smooth. I wouldn't wait for the kit, the vap is that good even without it.

The upgrade kit is really of no concern if you're vaping at 1.2-1.5Ω. That's the range the stock REO was designed to handle. This whole subΩ upgrade is really just to help out the superlowresistance nutcakes ( . . . . .). I see no point in waiting to purchase for that reason. Personally (and this is just me), if I were vaping my REO's at 1.2Ω, I wouldn't even bother with ordering upgraded contacts.

Sent Rob a PM asking some questions about any possible un-listed in-stock finishes or blems that are low profile, and also about getting an RM2 unmilled.

I really don't NEED another mod.... but hot damn I sure do WANT a REO...

So where is everyone getting their cool looking fire buttons?

It seems like most of the pics I see have fancy buttons, but it looks like it ships with just a black button?

They are on the website. One a black delrin the other is brass.

Dib... You've forgotten something about the sub ohm kit. I've noticed a significant increase in battery life since changing out my firing pin. That's with a 1.2 ohm coil.. I'm not saying that its an absolute necessity, but there is an advantage.

Yep. There are advantages, for sure. But I wouldn't wait to start living the REO dream over something like increased battery life. That's like waiting a year to buy a Ferrari because next year's model gets 3 more miles to the gallon on the freeway. :)
