Tomorrow I should receive the Revenger X kit and the Cascade tank.
I have a question.
As I said I ordered two Sony 18650 VTC5A as well. With those butteries I should be able to run up to only 75W+75W=150W.
The Revenger is rated for 5W-220W.
The Cascade tank comes with two coils, one is the GTM 8 Core rated for 80-200W
Not that I am planning on doing it, but just out of curiosity what batteries would allow to go up to 200W?

There aren't any that will safely support 200 Watts of vaping.

Here are a couple really useful blogs on vaping and batteries in particular.

https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/blogs/mooch.256958/

https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/blog-entry/baditudes-blogs.7609/

I'm sure @Baditude will be along with his excellent cliff notes that will tell you which batteries and their accurate ratings will give you a maximum safe vaping wattage per battery, but you can check both blogs if you want to find out why. A) Mooch actually tests batteries because ALL manufacturers inflate their specs, he has a handy chart with a list of "approved" vendors of said batteries (and well, your local vape shop is not among them) that offers options for sellers who are known to sell genuine, authentic and non-rewrapped batteries, ,etc.

So no don't try it, don't even think about it, because it can't happen and why power boards that are technically unachievable with the batteries we have today, I don't really understand that either.

Trying to make a battery put out more power than it is capable of doing is a recipe for many possible bad outcomes, it really is.

I want to say that it's the buttons vs a direct touchscreen, I could be wrong on that. I have a Revenger kit and I liked it just fine. I mean, not the cascade tank but I'm not a big sub0hmer, there are however, lots of sub0hmers who seem to be currently enjoying their cascade tanks quite a bit, and well, it's fairly large capacity too. I think either fit might suit you just fine.

Thank you again for mentioning the Cascade tank.
I tried it with the GTM 8 core and it was OK, but it really shines with the GTM 2.

BTW by vaping at 45W the two VTC5A batteries last forever.

I’ve been using both the original Cascade tank and the Cascade Baby SE with the GT coils. I prefer them so much more than the GTMs. It looks like Vaporesso is moving away from them too since their new tank is GT compatible.

Good luck with your setup! I have 5 Revenger Xs that I rotate with my other mods always with a Cascade tank on it though.

I just want to shout out to Vapresso that like I dropped my Tarot nano setup in my (large) cup of coffee. I turned it off, wiped it down and let it sit a couple days in front of a fan. It powered up immediately, it remembered my settings, it acted like it still loved me and it works just fine.

So I'm going to give vapresso points for durability and not just drops, I mean I got it out of the coffee fast (and I also strategically moved my coffee so that won't happen again) but I have to say, I was impressed. All my other Vapresso stuff is doing fine, but I was impressed by that.

I guess it likes caffeine :D.

My Revenger X was having some issues. Some times the fire button was not waking it up from the clock mode. Or it was asking if there was a new load even if I had not changed anything. I thought that the core could be defective but I decided to give the firmware update a try.
I did it this morning even if the firmware version it came with was the same od the one available on the web site.
It looks like it worked. I have not experienced the same issues since.

.....
I have to be honest. I’m vaping a Swag with the GM 2 and the Revenger+Cascade with the GMT 2 with the same liquid at 45W and I feel they are very close. Flavor is actually the same, maybe a little sweeter with the GM 2. I’m just getting more vapor with the Cascade but I think it’s because of the tank rather than the GTM 2. I need to see which one lasts more but for now I like them both.
