actually shoga, they do have twist kits at vapors choice, where I got mine from,I can confirm legit batteries.

Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

They're sold out of black, the best color as far as keeping clean and durability. The metal ones scratch and the colored rubber ones can stain. The price is excellent, but their picture sucks. Putting the clearomizer on top basically makes it impossible to tell if they are legit or not. So does not having a picture of the bottom. If you have one of these and you could compare it to my pics on the second page near the bottom of my blog and confirm that they are 100% genuine I would appreciate that very much.

Just for 2 replacement batteries, an eGo USB charger WITH a plug adapter would cost more than that before shipping from anywhere else, and that doesn't include two questionable clearomizers. Those batteries sell for $13-18 (usually $15 on average) from China (depending on quantity) so if they are legit (which I am kind of doubting) they aren't making very much money at ALL. Seeing as they sold out, the quantities they are getting can't be that big either. At best, 2x$15 = $30 + a $5 charger + approx $2-3 in clearos = $38 sell for $56 with a warranty? Not worth it for them. If you're not doubling your money in dealing with China you're pretty much crazy.

If your starter kit does not have to look like a cigarette to you, I recommend 2 Ego Twist variable voltage batteries (which together will last you over an entire day between charges), an Ego charger, a USB wall adaptor, and 3 large capacity clearomizers.

Next you will need to order some e-liquid from either Altsmoke or any of the three recommended juice vendors listed below (figure on at least 3ml used a day = 90 ml/month). Estimate that the 3 clearomizers should last you at least for the month.

You need not place your order with the below vendors, they are only recommended by myself as an example of an ideal and inexpensive starters kit.

The following components from Altsmoke can be obtained for $85 before tax and shipping charges (Juice not included):

Chinabuye has all that for HALF the prices you list.
Just FYI.

Dost mine eyes deceive me twice? This is the second time I've seen you recommend the Twist.
The only problem though is that the Kanger T2 Clearomizer is an utter piece of garbage. The atomizer coil is at the very top of the tank and it tends to heat up your drip tip and burn your lips. That makes it pretty much unsustainable for chain vaping. That's why they're already on the T3 which supposedly addresses this dealbreaking issue. The Stardust (eGo Vision Clearomizer) really isn't much better with its tendency to crack and overheat which cooks your juice to a nice coffee color over time.

Cool warranty of 1 year on all products, but you DO realize that it can take a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 90 days or more to even get here right? It comes by boat. It's not really any different than HealthCabin or DealExtreme (DX). Not ideal.

Got shipping with tracking 5-14 days for only $6
I'll update once I receive my goods.

Yeah, I just took a look at that website. Looked like something from Amazon, selling everything imaginable under the sun.

I'd rather highly recommend a vendor that specializes in e-cigarette products only, is highly reputable among ECF members, has high quality products, excellent customer service, and fast delivery. Sometimes it's better to pay more for a known quality.

Indeed, it's almost always better (excepting the Provari of course :) ).
That said, the money goes to an American instead of a Chinese guy, which is ALWAYS better. You're surprised I said that aren't you?

It gets too complicated too fast. So here's another choice for you
Battery = Ego 1100mah Black Battery [ego-1100bl] - $12.00 : Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts Don't worry about Twists and all that stuff yet.
Clearomizer = 510 EGO Kanger T2 2.4 Clearomizer Green [T2 Green] - $5.00 : Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts (or whatever color) go with a 2.0 to 2.5 ohm range will work nicely
Charger = Ego USB Charger [EGO-charger] - $4.50 : Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts
Wall plug = Ego Wall Adaptor Charger [Wall Adapt] - $3.50 : Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts
Try some samples from here E-Liquid 3ml Sample 4 Pack - $8.00 : Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Top Quality Custom E-Liquids
Try some samples from here Advanced search :: Search results - want2vape Premium USA E Liquid
Try 12 and 18 mg to begin with of nicotine, go up higher or lower as you get used to it.
See how you get on. If you like what you're doing then you can buy twists and experiment with different liquid delivery systems later. Your battery will always be a very handy backup regardless (and you do need at least 2)
Finally PG/VG ratio in eliquids. Try 70PG/30VG ratio to start. If you have sensitivity let us know and we'll recommend other ratios instead. Good Luck and keep us updated:)

What? Did you expect me to recommend a Provari to a new vapor?

How ya doing, Shoga? Long time no see.

Fanboys do every day; much to my dismay.

P.S. I is doin' fine. I made my own website which utterly schools the competition (most especially: PBusardo). I have applied for Blogger status, and I am waiting for that upgrade. In the meantime I cannot legally give you the link openly (though, if you PM me, I can do it there).

The eGo-C Twist grows with the user. If it's too complicated then just give up now. Answer: it's not that complicated. Twisting is easy. Why buy a piece of crap that you'll need to replace, in a month or so, for want of something better?

As I've already mentioned the Kanger T2 burns your lips becase the coil is too close to the drip tip.

If you smoke a pack a day or more (of full flavor cigarettes) start with 24mg. If you smoke less than a pack of day of king sized full flavors (or a whole pack of lights) consider 18mg with a bottle of 12mg as a backup. 30ml is the minimum you'll need to start. It should last you around a week. After you've gained experience (the first day or two) immediately order more or learn how to DIY as I did and order the chems/supplies for that, and do that instead.

Adapter is spelled with an "e", not an "o".

The cheapest, and best, place to get to start getting e-juice is ECBlend.com where they have a flavor wizard where you can customize your own flavors on top of the fact that it's $8.99/30ml (the lowest price on the market).

Avoid peanut butter cookie and fruit punch flavors which taste "like chemicals".

70/30 PG/VG is, in fact, the best ratio with the widest range of applications. Ratios with higher VG tend not to wick very well in all the commercially available cartomizes/clearomizers (such as the eGo Vision Clearomizer, Vivi Nova Mini, Boge cartomizers).

Wall adapters are better than standard USB only chargers because, if something goes wrong, as you are plugging it in to a desktop (and even more so with a laptop) the damage it could cause from a short, etc... is worth far more than the price of the adapter. I am an IT professional by trade and I can tell you for a FACT that USB voltage output, especially from the frontpanel USB ports, is sketchy at best. Better to get a wall adapter, or to plug it into the (now commercially available) outlets that have USB onboard, or also car lighter USB adapters, than to charge from a computer itself.

I only offered a different approach Shoganinja so calm down. Actually I use the Kanger T2's and they have never burnt my lips. An eGo 1100 battery is not crap and you nor I know the OP's budget limitations. I basically offered links from vendors I know and trust and use all the time to make it as easy as possible for a newcomer. Meanwhile why don't you go beeitch with Wolf on his forum here about how he spells adapter? ECBlends is not the be all and end all ejuice supplier. Cheap is great, but cheapest is not always bestest. Frankly I found your reply to my response as extremely rude.

I got my first ecig yesterday. All this great info still makes my head swim so I decided (after reading lots of posts here and the newbie guides) to just choose and buy a starter kit from one of the vendors I found right here on ECF. For a little over the price of a carton of smokes I got started and it came with a 1 year warranty. I figure worst case I'm not wasting any more money than I would buying smokes and it was better to just get started.

yes shoga the bottom cap of the vapors choice units do have the genuine joyetech logo, which is why I confirmed them in my previous post....and if you email them they can generally work something out with you on a kit...as for color options, I'm not going to argue with you, even though my metallic ones have never scratched...and the black ones I have always seem to start peeling
