Wanting to try something new...but should I?

I started vaping (and completely quit smoking) about a year ago. I got the JOYE510 kit and I've stuck with it. I have found that I like cartomizers better than separate atomizers and carts, but that's as far as my exploration has taken me.

Don't get me wrong, I love what I've got. But, since I've never tried anything else, I don't know if I'm missing anything. There are just so many options out there, it's just easier to "stick with what you know."

That's a long, rambling way of asking, "What do you think?" Is one of the thousands of options out there (other than the 510) THE thing to try? Is the 510 the be all, end all and should I just stick with that? Can anyone help me narrow down all the options and point me in the right direction?

This may not be what you want to here but my advice is that if you are "satisfied" with what you have then I would stick with it. I kept buying different models and liquids because I wasn't satisfied with what I had. At first I kept looking for a stronger more powerful mod and then the perfect liquid. This might sound silly but every person is different when it comes to what works for them and many people will tell you that their particular mod or liquid is the best one ever. That is until they buy the next one. If the 510 with the cartomizer is keeping you off of smokes then stay with what you know. Save your money and take a nice vacation. I know I could have taken a couple with what I have spent on vaping supplies.

Great advice from hittman! I woud just add:

You seem to be restless. Try to identify what might make vaping an even more rewarding experience for you.

• More oomph (i.e., TH)? --> Try LR atomizers or look into variable voltage mods.

• Less frequent battery recharging? --> Investigate higher mAh batteries, e.g., the eGO/Riva/Hello 016 or most mods.

• A different feel or flavor to the vape, e.g., richer/lighter, harsher/smoother, simpler/more complex? --> Try different atomizers, e.g., the 306 (which doesn't even need an adapter) or the 801 (my favorite).

• As you browse other models, are there any that appeal to you aesthetically? --> A PV doesn't have to look like a cigarette, you know.

And then, of course, there are all kinds of new e-liquid to sample. The choices today in hardware and the juice that goes in it are vast ... potentially overwhelming, but exciting to explore.
