I was just wondering what people like as far as vape temp. I personally like a nice cool cape maybe because I came from smoking menthol but I notice a lot of people posting about warm vapes. I like flavorful vapes cooler the better and a cooling sensation from menthol as-well. Maybe I'm not normal. Just wanted to know what others like.

There are many vapors who prefer a cooler vape experience, myself included. I also was a menthol smoker, so perhaps that has something to do with what type of vape that we prefer.

I find the low resistance delivery devices to be too harsh. I currently use higher end mods that utilize variable wattage, and use standard or high resistance delivery devices for a cooler vape, and adjust the voltage to the particular flavor that I am vaping.

So, you are in good company!

For me, it kinda depends what I'm vaping. Bakery goods and coffee juices tastes better to me on the warm side. And fruit is better on the cool side. I did smoke non menthol, but I do enjoy mint as a vape. Also, I do not enjoy low resistance either as it is a bit harsh to me.

Took the words right out of my mouth....different flavors different temps for me.

I find people talking about the low resistance stuff, duel coil, and other things and I am wondering what this has to do with the flavor of the vapor? I thought he was talking about whether there was a menthol cooling to the flavor or not. Please help me to understand what you mean by all of those things and what they have to do with what he was talking about? I personally like a cool flavor as well. I am trying different places now to find my fav flavor. I started out as a regular tobacco smoker and switched to menthol when I was very young so I don't like the flavor of a cig or a vapor flavor so far without the menthol. This is why I like the MT Baker site because I can add menthol to any of the flavors. I can't wait to get my order because I ordered some of their cinnamon series flavors with the menthol as well as one of their sweet flavors with the menthol. I'm exited!

Cool vapes are nice, especially if you use a metal drip tip, cools the air flow even more, but I really prefer a warm vape. Only drawback is if you chain-vape it can cook the juice in the carto and ruin the taste. Trying to find a happy medium.
I assume that the variable voltage mod should address this issue right? ( I mean the juice in the cartridge being cooked)

It does, but you can only turn it up so far before it starts cooking. I'm at about a 4.5 on my ProVari and that seems just about right for carto tanks, but nothing above a 3.0 for cartomizers. It's all trial and error I suppose.

People's vaping experience will be as varied as the number of vapors.

As I said before, I prefer a cooler vape. Low resistance delivery devices as well as duel coil cartos are too harsh to me. But for people who prefer a stronger throat hit, they prefer the warmer vapor of low resistance devices as well as duel coil cartos.

It's been my experience that too much heat can adversely affect some flavors. Fruit flavors, for instance, can easily taste burnt if cooked too hot. However, some flavors, such as a Red Hot Cinnamon flavor, can taste best with more heat. This is why I use a variable voltage device like a Provari, so that the heat can be adjusted for each flavor. You don't need an expensive mod to experience this; a $25 eGo Spinner or Twist can provide you with this experience, too.

Adding menthol or Koolada can make a flavor appear to be cooler, too.
