Just a little note to self and the folks that joined us over the cold winter months, as the weather warms and humidity increases you will notice that squonked juices flow faster into the atomizer.

It's a great thing - just beware that a squonk when it's 80 degrees in the sun and your REO is nice and warm is much more efficient than a 35 degree squonk :). It may catch ya by surprise (not a great thing).

As it warms to typical southeastern US temps the squonkin gets even easier :)

I know many of you still got a minute before your gonna get this warm :)

If you leave your REO in your car for a little run shopping it does not take much heat outside and sunshine for the REO to self-feed juice.

I learned that quickly when I visited Florida! I would come back to a REO that was almost gushing juice!

Using my 100% VG I still notice the higher temps effecting the flow of juice. Not too much inside with stable temps, but on trips out.

Whats the cure for self feeding, from heat expansion?
Maybe don't fill the bottle all the way?
Supposed to be 86 today.

I've never had self feed issues. But I run nearly 100% VG. But your suggestion sounds solid. I always fill my bottles to about 1/8" below the top of the fat part of the bottle unless I get careless / distracted :)

A couple things I do seem to help.
I only put 4 to 4 1/2 ml in my bottles when I fill. That's about what I get on a battery. So, when I fill, I change batteries at the same time.
Also, don't squonk and then set the Reo down, without taking a couple vapes first; especially if it's hot out.

I make sure the bottle cap is on a little looser. It will let the air exchange a little better. Filling partially will also help.

Been kind of cold, we're only running in the mid 80's. But it won't be all that long and we'll be pushing 120 in the shade. Ought to get interesting, especially with my new Lancia atty's. At least I can see what they are doing via the clear glass tubes.
Hi Spy,
Those are not bottom feeders are they
I would love to be able to see what my squonking is doing, without having to take the drip tip off every couple of puffs.
