Warning About Adapters on S6 901 Adapters

I have a S6 for 901 and was curious to try out some 510 and RN4081 atomizers on it. So I ordered some of the inexpensive adapters from Heaven Gifts to accomplish this.

I wanted to let everyone know these adapters don't work well on the S6 for 901. The threads on the S6's 901 adapter are too long. By the time you screw the 901 to 510 adapter on the S6, enough to contact the o-ring, there isn't sufficient thread left in the 510 to 901 adapter for the atomizer to fully screw in. While it technically works, it leaks air really bad and the draw isn't good. It's worse with the 510 Mega atomizers I got from Heaven Gifts. The problem could be fixed by adding multiple or a thicker o-ring(s) to the S6's 901 adapter.

Anyway, just thought I'd give everyone a heads up in case you decided to try this. The S6 901 adapter fits all atomizers I've tried perfectly, there is nothing wrong with the S6. These adapters are just designed to fit the actual 901 battery, and apparently it has shorter threads that the S6 adapter.

I have a slew of generic adapters, both the long black kind and the short metal ones that almost disappear. Each and every one of them have given me nothing but trouble with all of the PVs I've used them with.

The interchangeable, dedicated adapters that are an integral part of the S6 design were a key factor in my buying decision. They''re not 8 or 10 bucks like the "one size fits alls" but they always work. Come to think about it, I've spent almost as much on all the cheapies as I have on the three integral ones I have for the S6.

I just bought the Adapter from Super T. I know it is more than the little adapters but it looks great and there is no loss in look or design.
