I appreciate the humor and digs but this is not personal. To me, by putting up a certificate for a food establishment that governs only a facility producing edibles and not inhale-ables, that is dodgy and implies that they are FDA approved. My research with the FDA and RegistrarCorp indicates they are not authorized to display or have such a certificate. That's it. You want to accuse me of not being a vaper or whatever - you don't know. Some things are conjecture and some things are not. At the right time I will tell you all about my experience and endeavors in this as a user and a distributor/manufacturer over the past 10 months. All the legal issues, the FDA, the big Pharms (which I consulted to some of the biggest), the situation in China, the patents, the health reports - all of it, my involvement with the opposition to the recent CBS report and a forthcoming feature on Fox News. I have only been involved with original patent holders like Ruyan, Loongtotem and cixi at a very high level and not anything which is cloned or has no patent or certifications or test results. I have identified and dealt with the charlatans and middlemen. I know from your perspective you prolly think this is all bs and I am nuts. I may be nuts but I assure you it is not bs. I'm nuts because I have endured all the customs, patent, testing and other flak for the last 10 months and put a lot on the line to make sure the great potential of e-cigs is reached, especially here in the US where there are close to 400,000 tobacco related deaths every year, not to mention the $100 billion in associated health care costs of which $30 billion is out of our taxes in Medicaid payments for these diseases. We can't hide and hope, but must support the testing, cessation trials and realistic regulation and manufacture of these devices, especially here in the US. That is what I am dedicated to. I am working daily with labs, clinics, hospitals and manufacturing facilities here in the US to make this happen. Right now I have people in China and in other states besides mine in the US getting all these ducks in a row. At the right time, it will be news. Hopefully in a short while we will have reliable, safe (tested) products that are legal and at a fair price. If you want to get an FDA registration, just sign up at
FDA Registration | U.S. Agent | FDA Regulatory Assistance for Food, Medical Device, Drug & Cosmetic Companies - Registrar Corp, cough up your money, download your certificate and post it on your site or wall. That's not going to help anybody. I have several independent ISO/CNAS/CMA/RoHS/CE/UL Certified labs that could be used to test anyone's products and those are the results that should be on the sites or walls - those results will help move this forward honestly and under the highest level of scientific scrutiny. Agreed those tests cost money that JC or others cannot afford but still, if your car isn't inspected you cannot legally drive it - even if you can't afford the inspection fee. I don't think I am stretching things. Sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way but this is what I believe is right and will continue along these lines. JC may be naive yet sincere in a hobby-esque sort of way, but in the bigger picture - they should think about their potentially historic role in this arena. Play by the rules, no need to be implying things which are ultimately not factual, no matter how unimportant or truth stretching it may be - that's exactly what the government and the press will target. The less negatives the better and any claims must be able to withstand scrutiny. Let's not open ourselves up to unnecessary problems. That will just hurt everyone.
