yeah but i boiled them with distilled water and let them dry for a day. they should have been good right? or am i mistaken?
I still haven't figured out how long an atomizer needs to dry.
I used to let them dry overnight and it really took awhile to get them going again.

Now I use two atomizers and clean them each week and rotate them.
So each one gets a whole week to dry now, and they work fine right away.

I just got a JC sample pack v2, thought I would like to try a few flavors
and then I started reading this thread, Yikes!. I realize this issue goes back a while so don't know if there is still an atty prob with this juice.

question for JC juice lovers.
Is this stuff an acquired taste? I tried the jc original first, and I must say it was, to me, really foul. Does all the jc juice have this 'taste' to them.
I'm only using jc juice with 1 atty but can't get that orig taste out of it when I use other flavs. Is it just me, and what is that taste of the jc orig that I can't put my finger on. I know everyone has their likes and dislike for juice but I can't seem to get used to this stuff.
Guess I'll put it aside for when I have nothing else. I was disappointed.

Oh crap, me too, I found this thread AFTER my order was shipped.
I have not received it yet. I wonder now if I will just hate it because no one seems to like it very much.

You know, JC has the best return policy I've yet seen in this industry:

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase within 60 days of receiving it, we’ll take it back. That’s it. We cover the shipping, and we offer exchanges, store credit, or full refunds. We want you to know that we are that confident in our product, and that we are committed to you, our customer... No bits of small print, no asterisks, no crosses, if you don’t like the product we will pay to have it shipped back to us and you get your money back period... We mean “completely satisfied” so we take the bottle back if it’s full or if it’s empty...

So I wouldn't worry much. If you hate it, you're not out much more than the time it took to try it and ship it back.

EDIT: And count me in as one of the people who DO really like JC liquids. Not all flavors, but pretty much every day for me includes JC Original, Tennessee Cured, and Summer Peach, often with a little French Vanilla in there as well.

That's interesting, because I find the new TC sweeter than the JC Original. I think it's the extra vanilla that gives me that impression. I love them both, though.

I just tried cutting JC Original (reduced-PG) with maybe 1/4 ECOpure Gold, and wow! Lots more vapor, better consistency, and the flavor didn't dilute nearly as much as when I cut with VG, nor did the flavor change appreciably. I'll try again with Rich (assuming non-evil Rich ever appears again on this plane of existence).

By the way, I've been using JC liquids almost exclusively for two months, and never had a single atomizer problem (and this with six atomizers). My only maintenance has been to boil the atomizers in distilled water a couple of times. Then again, I use a low-power battery. I have a feeling the problem arises with higher heat. If I start using JC in my 510, which is ECOpure-only so far, I'll probably restrict its use to a single atomizer until I can see whether it's causing any buildup.

Now I'm not going to claim to be an expert on e juice since I've only about two months experience. However, I've had juice form healthcabin, JC, blu cig and one other source which escapes me. I've pretty much settled into JC from a taste basis in my 510. The only problem I've had was with the markings on the bottle. They must be using some ink that comes off from your fingers rubbing across it since most of the bottles are now unmarked. I just get a surprise when I refill each time.

Anyway, I was concerned about battery and atty life from what I'd read on this forum. I've only used 3 attys. One I am going to try to clean, but it failed so quickly that I suspect it may have a problem. The other two have been used daily the entire time with no issues. I alternate between 5 batteries and I believe one of them is starting to show its age. One of them has lost its LED but seems to be working fine, I call it my stealth E cig.

You might be right, it may be the higher heat causing the problem. As I was writing, I remember that one time I had thrown my 510 in my pants pocket and later felt heat. The button got pushed and heated up pretty good. That might be the cause of my one atty and battery problem. I've since been more careful about where I carry my pv (most of the time).

Now, back to ordering some totally wicked for comparison purposes.

...Next day I was at the store, and finally found where they were hiding the glycerin...

Where do they hide the glycerin?? I have only been able to find it in their laxative section. Yes, that's right everyone, I have vaped glycerin from a laxative... I also then used it to help with the constipation that occurred after quitting analogs. Oh the irony!

just got my first bottle from johnson creek. made my atty stop working after about 1 hour. Cleaned my atty, still nothing. Totally wicked here i come.

Sorry to hear about your atty reaction to JC. I haven't had any problems with JC for my attys with their regular PG solution. The reduced PG solution made the polyfil dirty very fast and had a distinct taste common for all the reduced PG flavors. Aside from that though, it was a vapor beast and didn't impact my attys. My main PVs are Blu and Modern Vapor with 306A atomizers.

JC Juice can sometimes have a bacon-y taste. However, I am a fan of tennessee cured==MMMMMmmmmmm!!!!! The other flavors all have that same dark bacon fat taste, almost hickory smoked w a tint of molasses/maple?

In the first aid section. Labeled USP glycerin, but also labeled as "for external use only"... from what I've read, it seemed USP is actually higher "grade" than food-safe, but everything I found was confusing, and sometimes contradictory. I'm no expert and won't DARE say it's ok to vape. I used it for a couple days, without incident*, but that whole labeling as "external use only" nagged at me too much and I bought a couple bottles of "Wilton" Glycerine at Michael's (in the cake decorating section). That's what I've been using since.

okay so a few hours later and a very clean atty, my device is working again. I guess I flooded my atomizer? I dripped a little on the coil & I guess I temporarily f-ed it up. Im new to all of this but it just seemed odd that I wasnt getting any vapor after using johnson creek stuff. which has a good flavor and smokes up alot more than regular pre filled carts. i suppose my lesson is dont drip?

Johnson Creek juice, nor any other juice for that matter, stops atomizers from working.

It sounds like you flooded the atomizer, which is easier with Johnson Creek juice because it's thinner.
And then it sounds like you cleaned it, when you probably could have just blown out the extra juice.
And then it sounds like you did not let it dry long enough after cleaning it.

I hope you didn't throw the atomizer away, because it is probably fine.

I hate to say it, but I've been using JC for almost two months now and I just am attempting to clean my first Atty. It was still working but pulling through it was getting to be a bit difficult.

I also just opened my first bottle of totally wicked in menthol (never liked menthol analogs) and I love the menthol flavor.

How old is the atomiser ?, they dont last forever and some die after a few hours regardless of which liquid you use.

Just noticed you flooded it oh well at least you figured it out.

    Somewhere between here and there
I do think that the JC juices are a little thin and usually add about seven drops of VG to my little bottle that came with the bigger bottles that I ordered when I refill it. However, I have vaped about 60-75ml of different jc juices over the past three or four months and have had no atty problems. I am still using the original two that came with my starter kit. I have flooded my atty before on accident. I took a few draws on my 510 and then didn't seem to be getting much vapor so I assumed that the atty was dry and added a couple drops on the bridge. This flooded it. The fact is that I took too many draws in a row and the atty was too hot and I think that is why the vapor was low. I have noticed with some liquids that if I get the atty too hot, then I get very little vapor. It is fine after I let it cool a little. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
