I have been looking at dual 18650 box mods on eBay that appear to be homemade or custom manufactured. Some I have seen look really nice since they are carved from wood and have magnets on a slide panel to access the batteries. Others are made in project boxes where you have to unscrew the four screws to change the batteries (a bad design IMO). However, many do not appear to be built for subohming. I have seen listings saying they use a 3 or 4A switch, and then claim to be good for 0.2ohm attys. Others appear to have 5A switches, which are still not good for low subohm builds (granted a switch rated for 5A at 250v might be good for 20A at 4VDC). One says that the dual 18650 batteries are in series, but on questioning said "they are probably in parallel" - in other words, he did not appear to know the difference. None of them state the maximum current. Note that these might be a good choice if you wanted to use a 1.5ohm atty and vape for days without swapping the batteries, but I would think that people with RDAs would be most interested.in these types of mods.

However, I have also seen dual 18650 mods on ebay where the builders know what they are doing, for example making full mechanical mods using an Alltoids box with a switch from a mechanical mod and no wiring. And I have seen some with what appear to be chrome horn switches, which are also good to more than 20A, but then you wonder what gauge of wire they are using.

Buyer beware if you are looking at these on eBay.

Also be aware that ecigs are prohibited on eBay and are not covered under any eBay or PayPal policy. If something were to go wrong, PayPal will not do a thing to recover your money.
Technically, mods are not ecigs. They're personal vaporizers, which means they're not subject to that ban. Same goes for RBAs.

If that is the case make sure their is no mention of ecigs/nicotine/tobacco in the listing. My claim was denied and now I think it was because the seller mention something about quitting smoking.
Ah, there's your problem. The sellers I buy from always have a disclaimer for eBay's benefit, stating basically the same thing I said in my previous post.
